Go Ahead is a masterpiece....no wonder it even got a Kdrama adaptation this year....won a lot of awards...this is the drama of Seven who got her the big breakout as the 1st billing(Under the power before that was extremely successful too but she was not 1st billed if I am not mistaken) I rewatched it again the other day and realized how excellent this drama was...how I loved her and Song weilong chemistry too. Even till this day, I would see random clips of it going viral and it is mostly from her performance.

His face looked familiar to me as I was watching it and I learned later that he was the ML in a short cdrama/web drama from a few years ago(I never got to finish it). What revelation...he is going to be so booked after this. Love how this became his breakout role and it so deserved.
I binge watched the drama but now I am trying to keep up with all the contents I missed, behind the scenes, thai sweet (that I didnt watch , just some clips) and more that keep dropping ....
I wished it was better spaced out for the release especially when they filmed it for a long time...but it is what it is I guess.
The fact that Esther even said that she still has so much content that she didnt get to share just said it all...

It is unfortunate; you film a drama for months, wait a while for it to air and then it suddenly drops like this and in only 10 days it is over. We dont even get the chance to fully enjoy/hype it...that was too short. We didnt get the chance to enjoy a lot of promo/contents and it was already over :/ This is why I tend to like how Kdramas do where a drama air for like 2/3 months No wonder Esther said that she still had so much content tiktok videos, pics that she didnt get to share.
Heyu Heyu man....what a revelation !!! This man will keep getting more and more popular in the industry. I was also there when his IG page was at a less than 1000 followers and to think that he will reach 1 million probably very soon ...INSANE and deserved !!!

The way zhao zhao looked at mumu>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>; just some of the the best onscreen chemistry I have ever seen. 1 of my favorite pairings this year (the other one is the couple from sniper butterfly)....so thankful that Cdrama gave me 2 amazing dramas like these 2 to end the year.
Was this drama a collaboration between China and Thailand? I noticed a lot of it was filmed in Thailand, their variety show too and also a few Thailand actors where there. One of the reasons why I love this drama so much is because in some ways especially at the beginning , it really didnt feel like a C modern drama (in a good way).
I missed the Thailand episodes or the Thailand era (when it got to the middle/end); it was so raw, carefree, the camaraderie between their group was so nice, even the drunk father and mother, the ambiance, the area....it was not all peaches and cream but it represent their dating era ....even the car racing scenes that I didnt care too much for at one point (lol) I missed it....also zhao zhao in his bad boy era lol. Esther with the gorgeous fits....it was all so simple.
This is maybe the 1st C modern drama that I have seen that has done a marvelous job of showing how someone live with debilitating injury or are still in the road to recovery for years. I have never really seen this before. There are so many shows that always show people like zhao in serious injuries like this but we either fast forward to x or y years or say how much they suffered and that's about it. I am impressed on how the show showed how a lot of times, these people may have to live with this for the rest of their lives, how their partners really need to consider about if they want to stay with the person and the adjustments they may have to make (it is not an easy decision because they may act a lot like a caretaker sometimes....see how mou mou had to know all of his medical records to see what he dealt with and what to look forward in the future). And if they have money, a lot of times they would have a personal doctor like zhao that would stay with them like julia does sometimes. They showed how hard he was doing physical therapy a lot,......and how even 6 years later he was still not 100% ok and he even still had a lot of trouble walking long distances or doing anything remotely physically strenious.....so so realistic. A lot of these dramas usually show you how 5,6 years later the person who was in the kind of accident like zhao is perfectly fine now when that's not really the reality.
I was so angry at zhao zhao for ghosting her for 6 years......literally NOTHING..... having his friends and family lie to her for years about his whereabouts that she continuously asked for years....even say that her dog was lost when he got the dog and raised it. I understand his reasonning about it but the way he always made decisions for her on that end because he didnt want her to handle it, couldnt bear her to was annoying...He should have given her the choice at least....let her see
I also LOVE that the show showed us how she never gave up on him; so many times dramas write separations like oh I called him or her once and that's it but they showed us how she kept telling him what she was doing daily at University, she went to Thailand many times, visited his family home, his friends, to ask for his news, she really did her part.....
Tbh I wanted her to make him suffer a little more before they reunite . Again I Understand why he did it and I am glad that the show gave his point of view on the matter (like how she was born, she was always sick, always seemed fragile....) and he has already been through too much already but it sucks !!!
I think that it is episode 15 ? Yes I made sure to remember it because I knew I was going to come here and rant about it later LMAO. I am sick and tired of directors and it is not only this drama, it happens in so many dramas who show us the bird, the sky, the ground, the grass, the water....literally anything else when the 2 actors are kissing.....I am sorry we dont care about that....ZOOM IN ON THE KISSING SCENE.....Ughhh... Thankfully they had many kissing scenes and skinships scenes so I could get past that but it was 1 of their 1st ones and the camera angle or filming it like a high angle that we cant even see it properly pissed me off.
I purposely waited until I finished until I finished binge watching the drama to come on this page. .....I just know how people like to roll with Esther and I already saw some comments online. Not sure why people are always intend on dragging her .....or act like someone forced them to watch her drama.

I knew his face seems familiar.....it seems like I saw him in a short C drama from a few years ago . The way he looked at mumu, expressed yearning for her, I could just go on....he completely acted like a man so hopelessly in love with her. I am so thankful for these 2 for giving me 1 of the best dramas to end the year ❤️❤️❤️.
