As 2024 comes to an end, I am sharing one of my favorite off screen moments of Seven and XK promoting ABAY. Forever 1 of my favorite comfort dramas 🫶🫶🫶.
I've to be honest. I do not care for him as the ML 😅😅 . The fact that he's somewhere filming another drama in hengdian and the fact that he was announced just now further proves that his role is minimal which is good.
The drama mostly revolves around Seven 's character anyways 🤷 🙂🙂.

he just got back from quzhou (NYE stage rehearsal) and went straight to filming. quzhou-hengdian is about 2 to 2.5 hours by car (please correct me if i'm wrong). there is a lot of scene to film today, and after today’s filming, he has to go back to quzhou for the NYE gala. i sincerely hope all the efforts he put into filming won't be paid dust.
His schedule is just insane; I am not even sure he had a small break this year :/ I saw him filming the other day in the cold in the water on Christmas :/ I saw some of the bts drama for LITC in 1 of his fan Accounts Rants on IG so I see why some fans are concerned and hope that all of his efforts, especially in this drama wont be in vain.
Well guys i am not hater of tsy but this year release has poor storyline i am.kinda disappointed with her choice…
BO didn't have the best scriptwriting but that's not her fault. Imo she said yes to this drama mostly because she wanted to promote her hometown Sichuan culture. I saw a post on Weibo that after BO, a few netizens went to visit things related to Sichuan in the drama so her efforts were not in vain. I personally disagree with dear Mayang street being better than ABAY and the success of the latter proves it even more but I guess we are all entitled to our opinions. ABAY did extremely well and won the Annual CVB crown at Mango TV this year and made her a 3rd recipient of this honour. Historic 🙌🙌🙌. Not only that but it was airing, it did very well online as well. It it adapted from a novel " as beautiful as Beijing" and imo the adaptation was great. Ex Story? But this happens in real life? ABAY was really realistic especially when it pertains to human relationships imo.
She has Xiao yao an original work coming up next year. My destiny that she is currently filming a period drama. Imo these 2 dramas in particular have great scripts.
I do want to see her tackle other fields she has never done before in her next roles but I'm pretty sure that will come.
Although I would love ss to take another period drama after MD is finished filming, but I find it a bit too soon…
Quite frankly I think that the situation is a bit different with 7. Seven will be fine imo; this lowkey doesnt apply to her because she has the luxury to take very long breaks because she is basically an independent artist and is not a traffic actress. She chooses how she wants to work. That is a luxury that many C actors are afforded.
I think that this year was her longest break in recent times. She finished xiao yao at the end of July and was on break from all that time until November; Most C actors would NOT be afforded this luxury; they would have filmed 1 more drama in the meantime and attended many events in between. So even if she does her next rumoured drama after MD, I am pretty sure that she would at least have a few weeks before it starts....let's not forget that she had all these months off since the end of july until November so she had plenty of time to rest. This is way more than I have ever seen any of these popular actors have. I literally see a few of them work back to back for years without not even being able to take even 1 week of vacation in a year. It is insane. Idk how they do it.....
What happened with Lusi is unfortunate and I hope that she gets better but sadly when you see the schedule of these traffic actors it is not surprising; They work non stop; they film drama after drama with almost no breaks; since they have so many endorsements, they have to attend x or y events; so many of them . travelling, filming, constantly working and on the move.
It is unfortunate the way the Chinese industry works because it seems like this is how the traffic actors have to work.
In Korea, actors like Song Hye Kyo, Kim Yoo Jung, Lee Min Ho .........big A listers literally can go 2 or 3 years without releasing a drama/movie and are still as famous as ever....The Glory from SHK was released in 2022/23 and her next movie is coming up next year...2025. LMH last drama was released in 2020, then the next 2022/23. Kim Yoo Jung her last drama My Demon 2023 and her next drama 2025. Just a few examples. In China, it seems like the more of a traffic actor you are, the more you have to work like crazy smh. The way I see a lot of C Traffic actors work is the equivalent of newcomers or actors who are not established yet in Korea. The K industry is far from perfect but at least once they are established, they choose their work, can take long breaks....something needs to change with the way the C industry work their actors but I doubt something will :/
