And the ABAY videos I see on youtube/IG/Tiktok have way more views than all of these lol. I dont think the chemistry of the actors in BO resonated with a lot of people quite honestly through no fault of their own. Even Road Home videos had a lot of views on youtube...a lot of people loved their behind the scenes videos as well.
IQYI tend to have some reality TV shows to promote their dramas. I see it with their other dramas.
I remember watching the cast of Story of Kunning palace on their IQYI reality show last year to promote their drama and it was so much fun. They were cooking, dancing, doing challenges, singing...... How I wish Seven and Neo could have a variety show with IQYI like this next year with the cast of Xiao Yao to promote their drama....sigh...

Tencent is a great platform and they promote well for the most part. Youku sucks so bad when it comes to promo. Just look at how they did with Master of My own. The promo was non existent....even worse than BO. Till this day I think that it is so impressive that it did quite well not only on youku but on TV.

It is a shame that she doesnt work with the same ML actor twice no matter how popular the CP is because usually other actors capitalize on it and do 2 or 3 more dramas with the same person lol. I would love to see them reunite as well but oh well...........

It is giving me the sword and the brocade vibes which I Loved and I still rewatch it till this day from times to time. Her CP with Wallace was 1 of the most beautiful slow burn love stories I have seen. Also I really Love Harem dramas so if this new rumored drama is one, I am really going to like it lol. In house fighting drama sounds like one.
I want her to take more Xianxias like Xiao Yao. I want her to give Modern dramas a break lol. She doesnt do a lot of traditional dramas so I will take this one. I am also very happy to see that it is a Tencent Production because I prefer their productions and the ones she did with them are not only well promoted but well produced.
Another thing..... every successful actor has 1 or 2 dramas that always don't do that well. BO not performing…
You have the right to defend yourself by all means but you would not like it if people came to your fave page (whoever it is) and say some of the things you are saying about Seven here so Idk why you would do that to an actor who has done nothing to you. Even if you dont like her like you said, I personally think that it is so unnecessary. There are so many actors I dont like here and I will never waste my time going to their pages to say how much I dont like them, their work, their appearances and this and the 3rd.
Not every successful actor project is going to be extremely successful . There are very successful actors in Korea, China, Japan.....heck even Hollywood who have 1 of 2 projects in their repertoire that didnt perform according to expectations for a myriad of reasons.
BO did OK all things considered. Seven is not going to be the 1st A list actor who has a 7. something drama rated on MDL. If you go to other popular actors pages here and you will see even some projects that they did rated at 6....many rated at 7 and yet they are still as successful as ever π€·π€·.
I am just thankful that the drama aired so that all the cast and production team hard work did not go in vain.
Seven has 2 dramas that will air on CCTV next year πππ. This is Huge. This is amazingπ₯³π₯³.
She will continue to be booked for great and amazing projects and continue to collect awards as well βοΈβοΈβοΈ.
