It's a spin off story called The Southern Archives or 南部档案 and it's about the Hai branch of Zhangs during the early Republic of China.

Yea, this has me super interested. Killing him off in the story was really disappointing because Haiyan didn't have anyone he could interact with and show off his personality the same way after that point.
