I wholeheartedly agree. I also think she's a crappy girlfriend. She's very immature and spoiled, and this was not the direction I was hoping for her character.

I haven't noticed any differences in terms of cut scenes. The only blatant difference I see is the length of the episodes: The DVD version has episodes that are always 45 minutes long, the TV version is roughly around 30+ minutes.

But now that I know about some scenes in the book, I'm really hoping for those 50 cents one-night-stand moments to be played out in the drama.

Clearly I need to read the book, because there are limitations to what the drama can convey. But I cannot find the book with English translation.

Lol, we kinda expected this though, right? I mean, we knew it was going to be a roller coaster ride. Maybe take a break for a whole week, and then pick it up towards the last week of airing? That's actually what I'm debating about doing right now because the international episodes are not being uploaded at consistent time, and I hate having to anxiously wait for new episodes.

I'm hoping that even though they're not back together, ZF will be there for SL no matter what. They clearly like each other... that won't change. So it's just of matter of time. I'm kinda hoping she will chase him when he's at his low point. That way, it won't always be him chasing her. :-)

I think they're advertising Honor mobile phones. Not sure if that ringtone is just for that phone brand but that's what I assumed.

You can watch one episode to see if the story/cast catches your attention. I mean, everyone has different opinions/views on what they do and do not like, so I cannot say for sure if you will like this. For me, I thoroughly enjoy this but that's because 1) I like the story line 2) the strong female lead and 3) the banter between the leads--their conversations are engaging and their chemistry is on point for me.

I'm sorry if others' comments spoiled your anticipation for the drama. I do enjoy conversing with you and hope that you still check out the episodes from time to time. On my part, I'm still invested in the drama; as long as they do not change ZF character into a weak, simpering female lead.

Oh my gosh, this is going to be a roller-coaster ride of emotions! Ugh, I may have to watch previews until closer to the end, when I know they're together finally. I cannot take the angst.
And is it too much to ask if I want some more screen time between Chendong and ZF? I like their friendship and I feel like he genuine loves her. Now, that's the man I've been swooning over throughout this whole drama.

I find SL straightforward and blunt. He's not your typical knight in shining armor for sure. He's also not a character I would swoon over. Mind you, my pick would be ChenDong, especially when he told ZF, "I want to be your moon." Oh my heart.... I don't need any fireworks, I need my moon!

LOL, I agree! I couldn't enjoy that kissing scene because I felt so bad for Chendong. Like, he doesn't deserve that crap. It's ok to reject him and let him be. But let's not add salt to the wound.

I completely understand your point of view. I was hoping they break up due to differences in their professional life or something. But let's not forget that when we first met ZF, she just broke up with her ex-fiance after finding out that he's been cheating on her for years. I definitely think ZF should allow SL to explain; but I also think that from her perspective, those pictures are incriminating enough.

I may have mistyped. I meant to say "When shit hits the fan" which is just an expression of when things go bad for someone. I'm assuming she will be there to support him should anything happen to his business(this assumption is based on the previews). I have not read the novel to know how the story will play out.

Thank you! I greatly appreciate it. I do think ZF is emotionally burned from the last cheating incident, so it's consistent with her character to not want to deal with a cheater. However, I think she may end up being his rock when shit hits the fan for him.

I hope they don't break up frequently. I'm ok with this one breakup, and when they get back together, their relationship is stronger and can endure more hardships! If it's not too much to ask, is there a reason why they're broken up in the first place?
