Very satisfying ending
ML made the show for me, beautiful acting by ML, he kept me watching. His earnest naivety pulled me in because I wanted him to win or have a happy ending. Truthfully the whole cast did a good job, they were frustrating where they needed to be, likeable where they needed to be, definitely job well done.Watch if you are looking for something that doesn't required too much from you the viewer, but is an interesting story, engaging character (the ML) and a satisfying ending. Not exactly a happy ending but a good ending.

The last episode spoiled it for me
I'm a fan of the ML so I went in wanting to enjoy the show and for the most part I did. This was my first chinese detective drama so there weren't many expectations on my part.It's a good show, I think they had a good story a mix of detective work, palace politics, a revenge plot, friendship, betrayal and a little bit of love, so they had a lot to work with. The acting was mostly good with the exception of the FL, I didn't enjoy her at all I think it's how her character was written, it felt like the script writers kept forgetting her and they'd just squeeze her into to scenes, in some scenes I felt like the scene could work even if she wasn't there, but I enjoy the show nevertheless, until the villain reveal. It was badly done, after the reveal it just looked like they stopped detecting they were just running around, maybe they were still processing, but no it could have been done better. The final showdown battle was worse and the reveal was a let down.
With all that said, I'd still recommend you watch it's a good show, flawed but watch worthy.

Good concept
This is a mostly easy watch, the story is good, the acting is good FL Kim Da Min, I really enjoyed her performance definitely the highlight of the show. It has the right amount of suspense not to much, not to gory either. I wish they had handled the end of the case better but I'm not mad I enjoy it all the same.I hope they do a season 2, the ending left the possibility of season 2 open. I think season 2 could be even better tha this season.
Watch if you enjoy a good mystery, a little bit of suspense and a quirky detective. Also a good paced story.

A really good story
I read a review that called it a compelling story and that is an accurate description.If I had named the show I would have called it "The extraordinary life of Gu Pingyuan". I really enjoyed the story, it's about a guy just living his life and what an extraordinary life he is living. It's a very easy watch, not a complicated story, just a smart guy with a silver tongue living his life, trying to get back to his family and figure out who framed him and run his small tea farm, but life has other plans. There's a bit of a revenge plot, little bit of palace and foreign politics, some war and unnecessary romance.
I just want to rant a bit about the romance, initially the thought the story is so good it doesn't need a romance, and I still do because his interactions with the love interest all felt inorganic, like a filler plot, they didn't added to the story or move the plot, I felt like it distracted from the story. However towards the end of the drama I thought, a romance between Gu Pingyuan and Ms Su would have been perfect and it wouldn't need to be an in your face we are in love romance, just leave us with the impression that they are riding off into the sunset together. *End of rant*
Overall a good easy watch that won't give you anxiety, some parts could be done better but still highly recommend.

An awesome bunch of busy bodies
Hooked from episode 1, started with an engaging story and kept the other cases interesting. Each of the 4 main ladies bring their unique life stories and form a quick bond. I enjoyed it the acting, the smaller ones leading to the big story, very well done.Watch if you are looking for a good watch, with a beautiful sisterhood, mysteries to solve, while to dealing with everyday life and past trauma. I loved that they kept me guessing who was the bad guy, I had to follow the story to get to the bad guy. Definitely give it a try.
They teased a second season and I'm not opposed to it.

Overall enjoyable watch
First review so super shortEasy and fun to watch, very good story, beautifully choreographed fight scenes. The story was well paced and kept the viewer engaged. Hwang Min Hyun deserves an award for this role. I also enjoyed Ju Yoen U's acting.
Watch if you are looking for a good story, engaging characters and great fight scenes.

Never read webtoon, so I'm objective
I enjoyed it and I'm glad I read the reviews after watching because I might not have watched. Its a decent movie with good acting and as someone who has never read the webtoon I now want to read.It's a good story and because it was a movie they had a limited amount of time to tell as much of the story as they could, I would have loved an 8 or 6 episode drama, it would have given the maker more room to tell the story.
With all that said I'd recommend this movie, its an easy watch, easy to follow the story even the gore was done very well you can watch with the kids. I'd love a part 2 or even a series.

A heart warming story with a happy ending
Its a nice feel good drama, this is the best way to describe it, it will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy.The drama tells a story of a school rugby team that has been written off by nearly everyone a disgraced former rugby player who comes in and helps the team turn things around.
It's not a complicated or unique drama but its enjoyable. Watch if you are looking for an easy to watch semi fast paced story, where the underdog comes out on top and everyone gets what they deserve and it has a happy ending.
Definitely worth a watch even if you don't enjoy sports.

Watch if you want an easy to follow story with, lot's of action, beautifully choreographed fight scenes and even better gun fights. An evil twisted genius trying to shape the world in her image, a depiction of how selfish, evil and self-serving people can be and how far they are willing to go to further their our agendas.
It really a decent watch, nothing extra ordinary just good Tv where mostly everyone gets what they deserve

I enjoyed it
An easy watch, lighthearted where it needs to be sweet where it needs to be. FL was amazing from the very beginning she pulled me in. ML I didn't have faith, but by the end of episode 2 I was sold, he is an amazing actor, dare I say the perfect male lead, I enjoyed his acting the most. First half was amazing, gets a little messy in the middle but they redeem it.Watch if you are looking for a nice fantastical story, with a good romance, little bit(of bad done) palace intrigue, but an overall happy ending, no cliffhanger, no opening ending.
It's not that deep, its fantasy, don't take it to seriously just watch and enjoy.

A really good show
I was skeptical going in, the beginning didn't really grab me, but by episode 3 I saw sold.It's am amazing story of loss, determination, triumph, betrayal, palace intrigue, abuse of power, history, friendship and finding love in the midst of all of that.
I know its a costume drama, but give it a try it's an amazing story and its done so well the ending is also very well done.

Watch if you enjoy a good story with an underdog theme, and you are never to old to live your dream, great camaraderie, great friendships. This is a really good, really easy watch that doesn't require much of the viewer except to watch and enjoy.

It's like a hot cup of hot chocolate on a cold day
The best way I would describe it is warm and fuzzy. I really enjoyed this show, the acting was top tier everyone played their part well. The show has many themes in it, but they are done so well that they don't overwhelm the viewer.There's a smart and strong but not hardened FL, she face so much strife, hardships, abuse, rejection and just plain old unfairness but it doesn't hardened her or lessen her resolve to better herself.
There's a sisterhood that I loved (I'm a sucker for a good sisterhood). There's the friendship between the ML and FL, the development of their relationship is done exceptionally well, I was almost ok with them just remaining friends. The ML's character is written and performed so well, I hope he got an award for this role.
Then there's the palace intrigue, terrible inlaws, an indecisive ex husband (side note, Miles Wei, another amazing actor), it's really a story of resilience, friendship in my opinion.
It's a good show. Watch!!!

It was OK
First great acting all round, everyone did an amazing job. The story was ok at best, it feels like they wanted to take the viewer somewhere with the story, but I didn't get where they wanted me to go. The story didn't pull me in and hold me, maybe a different ending would have helped. Also some parts felt unfinished and some parts didn't add anything to the story, like the business partners family they felt like a filler to me.An overall OK watch Gong Yoo is always a pleasure to watch, even if the story didn't hit like I was expecting.

Ji Chang Wook is a man for action
JCW did an amazing job in this role, actually the entire cast did great.The stroy is of a regular guy just living his life when he gets framed for a crime he did not commit, while in jail he finds out how he was framed and begins the journey to finding the people who framed him and proving his innocence.
Overall its a really good watch, the pacing og the story is done well, it's not rushed or too slow, the fight scenes are beautifully choreographed.
Watch if you enjoy a good revenge, good fight scenes, found family and a good ending. It really is a good drama
