Have you tried Priest and Cursed? They're not too bad and fits the genre you're looking for, similar to The Guest.
I didn't really like the priest because of the romance and messy plot but cursed was good. But the guest and save me were so good its kinda hard for me to find dramas that match that level.I also watched possessed but...it was bad to say the least.
Is this drama really about zombies? Because I don't want to watch another show about zombies, not when there's a train to Busan 1 and 2, kingdom 1 and 2, and alive. I really thought this would be about demon possession or some other occult thing. I really have been trying to find a drama as good as the guest, but I guess I probably won't find it anytime soon.
I feel like almost every month there is at least 1 kdrama based on serial killers For ex. October-catch the ghost November-psychopath diary January-game towards zero February-tell me what you saw, memorist
Dramas like he is psychometric, game towards zero, memorist all have the same feel where the guy has a power and the girl is a detective and they team up to catch a serial killer. Its too early to judge memorist yet but i feel like this specific cliche has been played out too many times. And serial killers are like clickbait for every detective/thriller drama. But its just my take on it.
It's already 3/4 of the way through the drama and I feel like Mari has not had an ounce of character development. She constantly needs praise and approval from her mom to be validated and she feels jealousy anytime yoo ryung accomplishes anything.I feel like her only personality trait at this point is being a lieutenant in the metro division. She has literally shown no emotion other than jealousy. Her job is about being able to balance empathy for the victims and be professional enough to catch the criminals, but she only focuses on the criminals and not the victims.I would gladly like to be proven wrong, but it seems like there is not enough time for a redemption arc.
Seriously ... ep 2 was such a big pile of sh*t I understood why it's a week end drama: you put this against the…
The female lead just found out her father die, her husband may be cheating on her, her husband may be in extreme pain/dead,and her mother told her the only thing good about her is being a wife. Also she is forced to go into politics with no solid background because her mom was paid off to make her accept it.I don’t know what a “strong” character would do but anyone would have a breakdown. Also she found out her husband was living with another person(two toothbrushes etc.), even if my husband wasn’t cheating it would be pretty jarring to find out he had a secret life.Also...all OCN dramas have conspiracy as a main plot point. So comedy is used as a relief. And not every person on the police force is a genius.Last thing the word “retard” is a derogatory slur so it would be nice if you refrained from it
For ex.
October-catch the ghost
November-psychopath diary
January-game towards zero
