As per my understanding, in the end the ML died (and his secretary gave the necklace that the ml wore throughout the drama to the FL ,also he gave white rose to her which is also symbolic of his death. When FL mother died, the ml also gave white rose to FL) . After his death she was sitting by the beach kissing the necklace and lost herself . The ML is shown coming from the sea as he was dead and it was fl's wishful thinking. She felt as if he came and finally they became free of all the retraints to accept each other and the she went to the sea with ML .(Symbolizing that she probably died or submerged herself in imagining the presence of ml around her with hallucinations). In the last swing scene, the Ml Is wearing hi necklace again and they are happily together after death / or in FL's imaginations.
