Why, god why? Matsuda Shota was perfect for this role - made me fall in love with Akiyama Shinichi. Why are they doing remakes out of perfection? Ruined HYD and now they got their hands onto LG and Nodame. Why?! :(
Is it me, or it just absolutely makes no sense? I mean, if Karina was the reincarnation of the little girl then how did the little girl ghost ended up haunting actress? And if the actress was the reincarnation of the murderer then how comes she saw him on the set? You can't reincarnate into the new body and still be a ghost.
A bit draggy and slow. I don't know.. as a Horror movie fan I would have to say that the idea was okay, the execution was poor, the main lead was quite annoying (especially when crying) and overall experience was at best average.
What happened to J-horror I wonder. The last good horrors I saw was back in 2000-2005 when Grudge, Dark Water, One Missed Call came around. Since then.. Kinda hard to find a good J-horror.
I didn't expect it to be good, but it was awesome :) didn't even have time to pick up a phone

It's a shame that we forget what we've learned. But as you said, mostly it was about memorization. It takes more than that to actually master a language.
To read Korean Hangul is definitely easier than reading Japanese. As far as Hiragana and Katakana goes it's fairly easy but then there's Kanji mixed in into the sentences. If they created Kana then why keep Kanji and make it more complicated.
Well, if you'll be up to learning Japanese I would recommend "Let's Learn Japanese Basic". It's video lessons about the foreign guy who moves to Japan to work. Since it's video lessons it's easier to learn and to remember. Although, it's very old, from the '80s I think. Still very good, in my opinion.
I haven't really tried learning Korean. Just checked out how to read Hangul also watched some educational videos on Youtube. So I can't recommend anything on that.
It's definitely fun learning new language. Especially when you start understanding what is being said and I mean, not assuming what is being said based on the face expressions and intuition.

I don't actually know much about Jpop girl bands, but true they are all lolies. Even in metal. Have you seen Baby Metal? For me it was something amazing. Little girls singing metal. I like Jrock but I don't come across it much. I listen mostly to Arashi, NEWS, KAT-TUN (which was my favourite band until Jin left).
But yea, not as much as listening to the bands in general as more listening to OST.
Probably if I would watch Chinese drama or Taiwanese drama I would listen to their music as well.
I was studying a bit of Japanese but since I don't use it I stopped studying. Even if I would learn it, eventually it would fade away. Although, I'm watching anime and drama, unless you speak with someone, it's a bit of a waste. Same happened to me with Russian language. I can barely make a sentence now. However, I really like Japanese language and it's fairly easy so one day I might pick up where I left off. Korean is ok, but a bit of a tongue twister and it seems that some letters are not pronounced which makes it so much harder. So I doubt I will try to learn it. Chinese would be useful to know in general but.. oh, it's just..same word with different intonation means different things.. What about yourself?

Hmm I thought the limit of the characters won't let me send a reply. And I was wondering how come you could write so much. Next time I'll know that it doesn't matter how much character has left.

Great I'll check that manga. If only I'd have more time to do everything xD
For me Jdrama were better than Kdrama. I remember I tried watching kdrama and it was so bad that I went back to Jdrama and swore to never watch Kdrama again. Then I saw Lee Min Ho on the cover of Faith and I had to check it out. Since then I dropped Jdrama since nothing good were coming out anyway.
Kdrama drama seems more vibrant, colourful, cheerful, has strong female leads as you mentioned. I love when woman can stand up for her self, although sometimes they come across as stuck up arrogant buggers.
When I get tired of Kdrama la-la-land and want to watch something more down to earth than I go back to Jdrama. They have more moral in their stories.
I'm not much into mandapop. But I'm certainly a fan of Jpop and Kpop. I like some of the groups from your list: Super Junior, Ft Island, SHINee.Some of the girls bands too like SNSD, T-ara, Wonder Girls, After School, SES, Boa.

Totally can relate. I've picked up anime again just recently, because of my friend. I went too deep into the drama land and abandoned anime. But now it's balanced. Somehow I like older school anime more too. I loved Ayashi no Ceres. Maybe because they are not so computerized. Old style ^^
I've never seen Tokoshokan Sensou. Maybe I'll put it on my list if it's any good.
Honey X Honey LOL. I can't believe I've never came across this one before. Shame on me! Or maybe I did but I don't remember..I will have to read this one.
Same here, I do like Ecchi/Smut type of genre. Makes it more interesting and realistic. I doubt there are any anime fans that are not pervy. It kinda grows on you ^^
Hehe~ What are the odds of finding someone on MDL who went pretty much on the same path from anime to drama, to music.

hehe~ glad ^^
Yea, I watch every morning while eating breakies.
I usually watch romance/drama type of anime. I guess that's my favourite then. However, I don't mind other genres. Might sound silly but DBZ is prob my all time favourite, even thou it's very common. ATM I'm watching Texhnolyze.
Favourites, favouries.. Let's see.. It's hard to pick 'cause they all have cons and pros. I loved 5 Centimeters per second, Vampire Hunter D, Final Fantasy, thou they are movies. I liked Vampire Princess Miyu, Rurouni Kenshin OVA, Elfen Lied, Escaflowne, NANA, Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Boys Be.. I need to stop naming ^^ But if anime is nice I usually read manga, eg. Naruto, because it has so many fillers I started reading manga, which is so much better than anime itself, same as Furuba, Bokura ga ita and many others ^^
Since you asked, can I assume that you watch anime yourself? Care to elaborate? ^^

Yea, I was looking at your profile too and it's so awesomely funny <3 so I thought I'll send you a req.
Oranyan is a male version of Tsundere. Yea, I think it originated from anime/manga. But you can adapt it to whatever :D
The bestest detailed description would be here: http://bangin.wordpress.com/2008/04/22/?????oranyan/ .
But to put it simply - it's a character that is usually cold to every other character except the one he/she likes. Usually, without even realizing how much they are favoring that character. They run from cold to hot.
