Agree :) MatsuJun is a great actor and for me, nobody have portrayed Domyouji better than him, not even Lee Min Ho. Even my mom calls him Domyouji instead of his real name.
Well, if you don't want to see him with another actress yet, give it some time ;) watch something else until you'll be ready. I found it the hard way that it's better to watch different style drama and with different actors than previous.
Or how about where there is no romance, like movies with Arashi (that is, if you haven't seen them already). I mean Kiiroi Namida, Saigo no Yakusoku, Pika*nchi

I agree, Toma Ikuta will always possess traits of Nakatsu :) Although Matsumoto Jun does make a great and memorable Domyouji Tsukasa character, sometimes I think of him as just Momo from Kimi wa Petto
Oh yea I never thought of it but now that you've mentioned it..
* Matsuda Shota will always be Akiyama Shinichi to me (sometimes I even refer to him as Akiyama) from Liar Game. So will
* Toda Erika forever have personality traits portrayed by Kanzaki Nao, no matter what drama she's in. Also from Liar Game.
* Tamaki Hiroshi is bound to be Chiaki Shinichi forever same as
* Ueno Juri will always be Nodame - both from Nodame Cantabile.
* Oguri Shun will always be seen as Hanazawa Rui - HYD.
* Lee Hong Ki will stay Jeremy - You're Beautiful.
* Lee Min Ho is bound to stay General Choi Young forever - Faith.
* Lee Phillip will always be a doctor Jang Bin also from Faith.
* Song Joong Ki oh yea, he will always stay the cheeky playboy Goo Yong Ha from Sungkyunkwan Scandal
I was always hesitant to watch a Remake but since I felt like rewatching original Hana Kimi I thought I'll give it a try.
I found it too silly for my taste. The original was way funnier. Sometimes, when you stick too much to manga, then IMO drama becomes too unrealistically stupid. It's like, original HK took you to it's own world and Remake HK tried to keep you grounded in reality while stupid things were happening and.. they were clashing.
I found this version to be a bit boring. Sano looked to me like a pathetic, a bit psychotic at times and a bit of a loser. Didn't like the actor either. Oguri Shun, even thou emotionless was way better Sano for me.
The ending took forever. Also this version was way more gayish to the point where I was wondering if I was watching Yaoi or Gender Bender.
I'll stick with the original 2007 HK
Things that happen in Hana Yori Dango are probably same that happen in reality. Don't forget that Domyoji is extremely rich and money is power, so in reality nobody would prosecute him anyway.
Gah... I'm not digging the main actor. I don't know if I should continue watching. The story hasn't impressed…
Yea, I know, it got so boring so quickly with that stalking.
I think it was at the end of episode 5 ONLY, so episode 6 was quite funny. They switched back at the end of episode 8. So since episode 9 it became even more draggy. Later they swapped again, maybe 2 times, for one or half episode. To be honest I don't even remember. It was quite boring.
The drama is really overrated.
I started watching it because of the body swapping but it happened very late and it was only for a few episodes. The drama itself was very dragged out, boring and nothing interesting were happening. The chemistry between characters sucked. The main male lead was really annoying - first he got stuck to a poor woman like a stalker, followed and annoyed her until she finally fell in love with him, just for him to tell her that they have no future. Moron. I hated him all the way through.
In the end I skipped through the scenes to get to the ending. The only characters I liked and supported were Director and Oska. Rewatch value 0, overall rating 5/10.

I thought the same. I love body swapping. However I wanted to drop it a few times but I was expecting it to get better.. It didn't. Just finished it by skipping through few boring scenes. If you're thinking of dropping then do so ;)
I don't think it's over dramatic. Kids these days can be pretty harsh, especially those who are from rich and/or dysfunctional families. Not to mention that there are more psycho kids around who have no empathetic feelings and enjoy torturing others
After the marathon of Joseon K-dramas, Summer Nude felt very pure, down to earth, refreshing and REAL. I'm glad I've picked it up(actually I just wanted to see how does Yamashita-san looks like in the 2013. The last time I saw him was in 2009 Buzzer Beat. He looks as handsome as always, by the way <3 ).
Anyway, I loved this J-drama. It has reminded me of how awesome J-drama are and how much I've missed these slow, down to earth, moralistic dramas.
I just LOVE this article! I got into Thai horror movies recently and I share the same opinion about them. Absolutely loved Shutter and Alone (what a twist!). Although they aren't that scary but the stories are good. I'm so going to watch these recommended movies. Thanks a bunch!
I think they might make it similar to - Cruel Intentions or Gossip Girl. Stereotypical rich spoiled kids in the…
Yea, but I'm not saying that they are going to make it exactly like it a Gossip Girl. What I mean is that it might happen to be like it even without trying
