i currently watch 3 short dramas. 1. Her Trajectory - certainly because of both main leads 2. Once Upon A Dream - twisted love and obsession (most of the time, i dropped such genre but donno why i stay with this drama) 3. dominion and devotion - the characters are all well written and the actors are good.
there are plot holes here and there as it's a short drama. but the chemistry between the leads are undeniable. they seems very comfortable around each other esp when they bickering and teasing. this is my first drama of the FL but for ML, it's my 3rd drama and I can say that his the best in this.

i do not read the novel hence i based my opinion on the drama alone. my bad for writing *SY in novel/drama*. your point on SY action the first and second time, i do agree. and this second time, it let SY know the whole WYF's background story. that's why I love to jump into comment section right after watching each episode. i tend to understand more about the story line, the characters from reading people opinion either i'm with them or not. and the clarification too since sometime i have tendency to loose focus while watching any drama.

i'm not good with words so please bear with me... i get why people are mad or have mixed feeling about WYF choice, but...
for me, she didn't have a strong support system/foundation from her own home. she feel loss, useless and unneeded after her dad died. emotional abuse from her own mom and physical abuse, sexual harrasment from her relative/boss/roomate make things worse. someone like her left with only one choice, run.
because she feel like she will be a burden to SY, the same reason she did not tell anything to anyone even her best friend years before. somene with that kind of scar, most of the time do not how to start sharing their story because they fear, they will become a burden to the only few people who love and care about them and that kind of feeling is ultimately the worse (speaking from my own experience).
yes, she should think twice or thousand times before left SY for the second time. inflicted the same trauma to SY is unfair and mean to SY. But, she thought that was for the best before their realationship become more serious and SY get hurt physically because she think her 'uncle' is capable of doing that.
in real life, maybe SY will just walk away and move on after the second time. but, believe me, there are someone like him in the novel/drama because he has at times too much empathy and love in his heart. it's never gonna be an easy ride but still they persist (i'm not indicate the one who choose to walk away does not have that much love, it's just people are different, and for SY, he is the latter).
and the fact WYF is still young (she has a lot of bad experince but almost zero help most of the time) and still on her journey of self healing (she still sleepwalking after that first altercation with her 'uncle') , make her desicion more logic at the time.
i'm not saying her desicion is 100% right, but i do understand the reason behind it. for WYF, that is the right choice or perhaps the only choice she left with.
everyone is entitled to their own opinion which is the reason why i do not reply to other people opinion regarding this matter. this is mine, and perhaps, mine only as someone who have similar experience as WYF.

the thing about WYF'S mom is, she is a really pathetic, trying to act like she's a victim too and a devoted mother only after WYF can take care of herself. she think of her well being only and just casually tossed WYF around for that.
WYF and Sang Zi (that flat chest rant) being cute while drunk and spill their deepest secret. And SY and Duan Jiaxu being melancholic while drunk. They just like each other. keke
that romantic scene full of ecstatic vibe pf him giving neck massage suddenly turned into some sort of thriller moment because of the neck snapped really kill me. bwahahaha
