Title Hometown Spoiler
During the time Jo jung huan doesn't remember she was taken by the cult and was brainwashed erasing many of her…
Jo kuyan ho kidnapped his daughter to brainwash her and is tormenting Jo jung huan to turn them in to followers of the cult. Since this story seems to be inspired a lot by the tokyo cult, the cult in the drama might also be preparing a grand event to kill everyone except their followers. So Jo Kuang ho is hurrying to make Jo jae young(the daughter or the sibling) and Jo jung huan(the sister or the mother of Jo jae young) followrs of his cult.(So they won't get killed and he can kill non followers freely?.) That terror attack Jo kung ho did before might be a practice for the grand event of killing. Lol

During the time Jo jung huan doesn't remember she was taken by the cult and was brainwashed erasing many of her childhood memories. She was in japan at that time. Jo kuang ho told the investigater, before the teror attack he went to japan to see the baby's mom(who was not japanese). Probably meant he went to meet Jo jung huan who was held in japan.

Title Hometown Spoiler
Jo jung huyan and her brother Jo kyang ho drew that symbol when they were in the orphanage. That girl in the tape might be the younger version of Jo jung huyan or her biological mother(?).

Maybe Jo jae young is the daughter of Jo jung huan and jo kyuang ho. They were talking about an ugly past. Maybe about them having a child together. Or she could also be their younger sibling.(daugher of the girl in the tape??)

This kind of genre has a niche market. It is aimed to appeal to a specific audience and not specifically meant…
I think you got the wrong idea. What I meant by ratings is the ratings based on how much points a viewer gives for the show here on mdl, which is not directly affected by the size of the audience. So idk why "shows with a small audience are expectated to have lower ratings." It's a fact that 99% of korean romantic damas have shallow plots yet get higher ratings just because of the super popular cast. Obviously it's not the genre's fault. The audience these days seems to perefer anything but with a young, popular cast with good visuals.

It's a shame that fluffly romance dramas get higher ratings while gems like this are stcuk with lower ratings.

What I think....
Chairman Seo killed a girl and the young BSH witnessed it. Seo threatened BSH and ordered him to dispose the body and not to tell anyone. So BSH threw her body to the water and prevented from testifying what he witnessed causing one of his friends(probably YDP) to go to jail.

I have a suspicion that Eun Seo is actually Eun ho fooling everyone around her.
