They developed the story line so well and it has so much promise- I was so excited for the ending. However the last few episodes really let down the whole show. It felt rushed and like a patch up job; almost as if they forgot they actually had to end it and had to quickly try and find a way to tie up the main story.
I just finished this show and honestly I've seen a LOT of kdramas so I tend to get bored easily, yet this drama never bored me. It was engaging, the side characters were reasonably well developed and you got to see the couple actually be together - most just show you the build up to the relationship over 15 eps then 10mins in the last ep of them actually being together. Its heartwarming, fluffy and a nice easy watch!
I love the Reply series so so much but to me this is the worst one. Trash annoyed me beyond words and I caught SLS. I had to drop it because it was infuriating me so much.
I've been finding it so hard to engage with any TV show since I watched Reply 1988 (trust me it's been a while) and this cured me. I'm not normally one for slice of life shows but the writers are truly amazing. I get so sucked into the characters lives, and whilst it focuses mainly on the five friends, it also goes into the side characters lives enough that it doesn't feel like they're just randomly popping in to add to the main plot line.
The arcs are all really well developed. This show made me laugh, cry and feel so very alive. 10/10 would recommend. One of my top 10 favourite dramas
