I think the problem is not in L&P (why I'm lying here :-D), the problem is there were not any good new drama released in December. When I tried to rewatch drama from my FAV list it's okay! I could watch it, But the new ones are really bad...
I started today "Meeting You Is Luckiest Thing to Me" (the premier), from the first sight is a good campus drama, but then you see all annoying cliche and just don't want to waste time...
Next releases are "The Blood of Youth" (tomorrow), but Hong Yi's acting can be questionable, will see. And "Forbidden Love" (Dec 27), but the trailers are also questionable (too much comedy aspect).

I have just dropped one more new drama... lost count)
it's all a few levels below L&P...
but tomorrow there gonna be 2 new releases "praying circle"

1st episode was really good, good interaction between the leads, good acting, cinematography,
but then I have watched 2nd.... and
- there is SML and his character is more interesting (as usual...uuff)
- annoying SFL
- FL really chases ML too much (we know the reason, but this justification even more questionable then the ordinary love chasing)
- super cringe "erythrocyte" performance
- super cringe ending of ep.2
...
