The comparison never benefits someone, I think these dramas are different enough and both are good!
A few days ago the girls compared TMoPB and L&R and then both came up to disappointment while proving who is nicer :) So, it's better to enjoy each and every particular drama and the leads :)

I don't think ChuYu is the reason :)) I watched recently The Sleepless Princess, Under the Power, The Blooms in Ruyi Pavilion (2nd couple) and in all these dramas I very liked interaction between the actors
But sometimes it happens when really no chemistry between the leads.. I'll give one more chance to Fei, who knows :))

I have been waiting for Legend of Fei, but now it's not interesting (for me!).
Next in the list Mirror Twin Cities, but my lovely Zheng Ye Cheng is a third wheel there, so.. not sure I'll like it :-D
My sister is watching The Wolf now, but I can't be hooked... don't know... CGI quality is terrible and the plot not so good for me as well
... I'm going to watch Joy of Life now, I've already tried in September and dropped, but will give one more chance as there are not other alternatives))

I had a hopes for this show and now disappointed, especially in terms of ML and FL interaction (unfortunately they were not "born for each other")

in L&R in opposite to AoL FL even being "emotionless" she nonetheless trust and protected ML at all costs

depends on why you don't like ashes of love, if because of the genre and flying people with magic elements - then yes, love and redemption is the same, and you probably wouldn't like it
if because of the other reason, then need to see what is the reason
