This is the reason why I refuse to call it "CEO's Arrange Bride". I always call it "Marry Mr. Yu" which is the translation of the actual Chinese title of the drama. CEO's Arrange Bride sounds insulting even.

The amount of times I've cried over this drama. Can you imagine it? A SHORT VERTICAL DRAMA making someone cry?????

And for a reason. The novel she got isekai'd in was written by a middle school student in his full on chuunibyou phase. It was even joked that the reason why the drama didn't have a kissing scene was because it was written by a middle school student.

Ep 14 teaser is so freaking interesting esp with that scene of mu sheng and miaomiao

In the 2nd lifetime of LYST, Lu Changkong was writing letters to Xiangyun while he was in the battlefield. When the contents of the letters were released, he read those letters out loud and posted it in wb. Being the good actor that he is, you can really hear the emotions as he read it. Not really that much of an effort compared to filming with this costume and all.

This is legit the most effort he has put on for a drama he worked on. Going back to Hengdian last month to film his is some next level dedication for xiaoding. Not even his efforts for Love You Seven Times could top this.

It's dubbed but it's very similar to his voice. IIRC they have replaced the previous VA to have someone that's closer to xiaoding's voice.

In ep 14 Mu Sheng looked so uncomfy I feel like he's starting to have those *dreams* hehehehehe (if they adapt that, idk if they will but if they do we be eating good)

I really really really really liked that the system did not force Miaomiao to flirt with Fuyi. That was my biggest gripe in the original work. Of course I'd expect Mu Sheng to still get jealous, he's a yandere afterall, but the position of MS and LMM's relationship right now really feels right to me.

The Romance of Tiger and Rose, Moonlight, Love You Seven Times, Melody of Golden Age, White Cat Legend. Honestly all of his dramas he acts so well.

Calling her dad Lao Lin was so adorable, I love that small detail.

To be fair, the original work really focused on the main characters and didn't give that much background to their, let's say clients who need their help. But as the story progresses, there should be more characters that will debut.

It's basically in the same system isekai genre. It's adapted from a novel and/or manhua called "Guide to Capturing the Black Lotus"

I could be remembering it wrong, but this is already high budgeted drama. It's an S drama kind of high. And maybe it's just me but in the cdramas I've watched this year, this has the cleanest cgi so far.

I really really recommend watching xiaoding's dramas. He's crazy good for his era. LYST, MOGA, TROTAR is his notable works.
