This drama is directly disrespecting the Arabic culture. The Arab character in this drama is clearly misrepresenting the culture and it is extremely offensive to us, the character is not even Arabic yet they let him offend our culture. I am not continuing this drama and I am very disappointed how K-dramas are still disrespecting other cultures like this. THIS IS NOT OKAY.
They brought an Indian actor, put him in Arabic traditional clothing, and make him act as if he is uneducated, and obsessed with alcohol and girls..... This is not only disrespectful towards the culture but towards our religion as well.
The least you can do as a writer, or a director is to educate yourself and be careful when you represent other cultures. But I guess they do not care.. It is embarrassing that this is happening in 2023 honestly.
If anyone did the same to the Korean culture or any other culture everyone will be so mad about it but when it comes to Arabic culture they think it is fine to make fun of it??? This needs to stop AND we need an apology too.
