you should be patient to see the progress of ths story line. Much better if you read some synopsis of the novel... the first phase of Princess Bai Qian/Si Yin as Mo Yuan's disciple is not very interesting but later when she turns to Shu Shu in mortal realm when Ye Hua met her there, then the drama will move you. So far this drama is among the best of C-Drama ive been watched since Nirvana in Fire, Princess Weiyoung and Battle of Changsha. Those are worthy enough to rewatch over again. :)

Family comes first! The first impression that can be conclude to this drama, whereby it reminds me of Reply 1988 which all family member, good friends will lean on each others when times get hard and loves will lead to overcome the hardships. I'm highly recommend this drama especially to youngster who dislike History subject, wish they can pictured the difficulties, patient, hardships innocent people who involved in war. This drama are worthy to re watch; All the actor./actress performed very well in their role and totally made me cry, laugh , smile all the way of this drama. Daebak!!

@Keikin Fortunately Huayu drama's dialog mostly using the same word, and repeatedly use. Ive got some basic Mandarin, if have to watch the drama with raws no sub, then ive to google the recaps/summary to understand the episodes. Thankfully, TMOPB is subbed quite soon as well as Princess Weiyoung.. Bu the most i adore is Nirvana in Fire with outstanding act of Hu Ge and Wan Kai.

Keikin, yes i watched The Imperial Doctress..hold the Singing All Along. Still awaiting subs for Princess Jieyou. Yeah kinda having trouble to understand the whole stroy without subs... i wonder why Korean Dramas mostly being subbed and not Chinese Drama. thanks for replying.
