Ohh ok I hear you, that makes sense. Hopefully someone who has read the novel, if there is one, can respond. I'd also like to know the explanation of how they got out.

It's a beautiful drama. Throughly enjoyed it. Finaly found a drama that is as beautiful as TMOPB. These dramas honestly are similar but yet different. The director did an amazing job in making the similarities different, I don't know how to explain it. They were parts in this drama that reminded me of certain scenes in TMOPB, but yet there was no comparison in my mind, I fully appreciated them as unique to Love and Destiny and the story of Jiu Chen and Ling Xi. This drama was nicely done.

Loved the Peach Blossom trio siblings relationship. Love the Fuyan Hall family/friends.
Found the god of thunder's character quite interesting.
Seriously honestly don't understand what was the point of Yuan Tong's character. And Jiung Xia was just an annoyance.
I love the fact that the OTP was actually a couple, and they were "together" and they each knew what the other felt for the other and they fought together against the demon king.

Episode 58 & 59 are my favourite. Episode 58 had me smiling like a fool :) :). Heck even the god of war couldn't stop smiling on that episode. Really honestly I could've ended this drama with episode 58 and sleep with a sigh and smile on my face (I'm a sucker for romance and lit kiss scenes :) ).
This drama is beautiful mann. I feel like this drama is more laid back, yes there's scheming, there's bad people, nice action but I don't know, there's just a laid back feel to it...maybe it's just me.
And those Princess/high immortal Ling Xi outfits! Wow!

How did they both manage to get out???
Maybe it's because they're don't belong there? Because they're "righteous", they don't have demonic aura or evil hearts or thoughts/intentions in them. So the demonic realm doesn't really have a hold on them... Don't know, just a thought. We'll wonder till we drive ourselves craze with different analysis or just leave it at that, a beautiful ending that doesn't make sense.

Interesting read indeed, and thought provoking. But I agree with you, on the part of not agreeing completely with the article's analysis, I also don't agree with some parts. There's a comment on that article that I kind of share the same view with a bit. But yeah the interpretation of the question dealt with on that article/review is very subjective.

JC lost his sensibility the moment he took out his stone heart to get that thingy magica to save LX's life, as the god of war are you kidding me how can you take such a chance...but I love him still, I'm not put of his character for making such a choice, it's dumb but ei that's love for you sometimes, you'll do anything to save the one you love.
And yeah JC competing with JX for A'Mo's affection was childish and hilarious at times but then again love can make you do some foolish things, especially when you're experiencing this feeling for the first time.
And yeah JC's choices and focus on his love can cost the world it's peace and lives, him not being able to fully fight and protect the world because of his unstable flame heart. But at the same time I don't blame him for wanting to stay with her and protect her from the people that are after her, LX's demonic seal being broken can save the world from facing that demon king again and at the same time save the life of the person he loves.

Ei that's a major spoiler right there. I knew I should've stopped because you answered what I was asking in the first part, I told myself to stop and not read further after seeing your word *spoiler* but my curiosity got the better of me...mann.

Eishhh...(*thinking*)...(*tempted*)... but I think your "don't worry" has answered me.
Still though even if JC is there, there's the demon lord who is hunting her and might stop her from completing the trials, there's god of thunder who is being suspicious of JC and if he digs might find out what JC is attempting to do and put a stop to it and there's that annoyance YT who saw that the 'what what' stone (forgot the name of it) is guarding the demon tower and if she digs more might also mess things up.
But your "don't worry" has consoled me a little. Lets leave it at that, thank you

Oh ok. As long as she/Lin Mo doesn't fall for JX. Even if the love triangle is between Lin Mo and not Ling Xi, won't she still remember her life as a mortal when she goes back to being immortal? And basically carry those feelings with her when she goes back to being immortal, especially since she died being disappointed in JC or with a broken heart because she thought he wanted her dead. But if she doesn't fall for JX then ok. And then again we all know with these dramas the OTP is set no matter what distractions or love triangles may come their way.

Funny how I feel more chemistry now between Ni Ni and Chang Chen in the mortal realm then I did when they were in the heavenly palace and they basically not even together in the mortal realm...yet.
I love this pairing, them as actors and as OTP.

Thanks for this. Like literally went back to watching this drama because of your article. I had put it on hold because of the subtitles, and was going to take a while to be in the mood to go back to it.

I've dropped a lot of dramas because of their babyfaced boyish looking leads (my main reason I can't watch a Korean historical drama, I just can't), like I really struggle to connect with them or get past how young they look. The lead in this drama is what I prefer. So I agree with you, it lies in the eyes of the beholder, and it's nice to have a male lead who looks like an adult and is rather handsome than cute.

So wait...basically there's no drama? So technically this drama only has one episode or two? Every other episode is a dream? Meaning it's not real, until the last episode? Ehh ° °_ ...

I've only watched one episode. Is this drama worth watching? Now that I know events that will be happening will basically not be real, I don't know. They not even memories?

Sweet, simple, no unnecessary drama movie. Nothing new but still enjoyable.

This was surprisingly a good movie. So far anime adoptions that I've seen have fallen short for me. But then again I haven't seen the anime of this one. But I really thought this movie was done well. Quality wise it was really good. Pace wise, it is kinda slow, and the female lead's constant hesitation can get a bit annoying. But I really thought it was a good movie. It was really put together well, didn't feel like it lacked like the others I've seen.

Not bad. Had it's sweet moments, had it's like 'are you serious' funny moments, lol this girl seemed psycho at some parts.
Simple storyline, no unnecessary drama.
