If I ever watched one where they displayed a portion of strength or intelligence I would be amazed. Do you have any that is not as irritating, I have watched tons. Understanding that Dramas are not a true reflection of society, so I am hoping that the females and males in Thailand are not idiots like how these Lakorns have them to be. Especially the females.
If you are desperate enough, do what I did when I couldn't wait. I used google translate on my phone and set it to conversation. Kao is focused on keeping it a secret, why? Family, Responsibilities, and balancing two important relationships. Had Pete accepted that Kao needed to do this for family, the plot wont have existed. However, Pete didn't and kept on about for strictly frivolous reasons, when Kao's family livelihood depended on him. Pete is way to possessive and selfish. He needed to be checked.
I am sorry, but Pete is extremely unreasonable, just as he is a rich boy with no clear ambitions or understanding. Kao is in a difficult position. Kao told Pete his situation and still with his arrogance, didn't care because of his ego. So Kao did what he had to protect his family, I would have stuck to my point, and if he couldn't deal with it walk, simple. My family would have trumped our relationship because of the arrogance behind it. He is unable to accept that our statuses are different and that for family Kao had to do this, then he doesn't deserve being with me.
However, my main reason for watching Dark Blue Kiss was never the leads; it was Sun/Mork after I saw subtle hints in the last series that Mork may be interested in P'Sun. I wanted so badly this development. This set of leads bore me.
