Snail paced, full of repetitive storylines, dumb occurrences, unnecessary deaths. It was pretty decent at the…
I am on Episode 13 and to be quite honest, I love the female lead, but this drama is replaying the same formula over and over. Bored. I guess after watching dramas for so many years, it's hard for me to ignore.
Formula: get ahead, sabotage, fall back, get ahead, sabotage, fall back. Sighs
I like this storyline, but after watching many of the FL dramas, it felt the same over and over. For my taste, she is too one-dimensional. But like the story and ML.
Yea that was the angst for me. I don't know whether they wrote it for her or that's just what she brings. Not the annoyance perse but the portrayal of these types of characters. I have watched her a few times and each are so alike.
However, I love the messages in this drama regarding empowerment, equality, being seen as a person first before label, and understanding a culture in a company is what we maintain and instill. Letting one thing slide perpetuates a cycle of toxicity. And also, what we see is not always the case.
It has high ratings, but bad reviews.. should I watch? 🤔
It is a matter of what you look for and need to have an enjoyable experience. But for me, I agree with Npark. The whole belief system of that ML was garbage and pointless. Granted these dramas are for entertainment purposes, but come on man, to make it to be aired is a feat in itself. They really should start tagging stuff like this as Fantasy so we can understand what we getting into. I don't even mean that actual component, I mean that it is so devoid of things that would actually occur. I kept watching just to see and it gave me absolutely nothing. Others have low expectations and just look at it to pass time, fav actors, or even outlandish scripts but me I want more.
just finished this series and till the 9 episode this was gonna be my fvrt one but.....at the end💔 why why…
I watched this when it came out and still today, its one of two heartbreaks that I have not fully recovered from. Masterpiece. I even cried I felt that pain.
I am finding it hard to understand this toxic triangle. He fell in love with his back thinking it was Tong so would bend over backwards to do everything for Tong? That is more like lust and obsession not to mention oppression. Sighs
I agree with someone below Joe went back a second chance and ended up doing the exact same thing for what a different outcome?
Formula: get ahead, sabotage, fall back, get ahead, sabotage, fall back. Sighs
The Cat and Mouse game between the two is also getting overbearing. Is the whole show about their cat and mouse game?
