I've noticed Cdramas are taking a page out Jdramas books. They really been doing short-length series for times.

Now, I am currently watching and while after reviewing comments I decided to know expect to much related to the original Cdrama. However, come on people, did you have to turn it into a cliche lakorn????????? In what world when you were considering making changes did that occur to the screen writers? Like man come on!

I hope his mental issue dont have anything to do with his dad and is only some ish his ex did.

I have not read the book and do like Enemies to Lovers, however, if the premise of this entire relationship is because one was jealous and envious, I will be annoyed. I at least needed to understand MLs reason for his hatred.

On Episode 1 and my stomach felt weird from that aunt. So checked the clips and my suspicions are correct. Should i even bother to watch sighs.

I already am not thrilled for the storyline and using this pair ML again. i am always reluctant when they try to ride this wave.

I preferred Part 1. This was done decently. I didn't appreciate the chopping block cuts, some things required to be seen. Although we can understand what occurred. They used way too much airtime on long stares that could have been used in other places.

FL, I see she is trying very hard to immerse herself in different roles and get better at her craft, I commend her for it. Romance, what romance? Additionally, I wished FL explained how much hurt and why she despised her mom so much. It was acted out but I rather it upfront. Did they really just drop the former Crown prince out of sight lol.

Part 2 was good, but I don't know, something feels like it's missing for me. Like it didn't reach where I wanted. I guess I expected way more since it was rated so highlight. To be honest, I didn't feel any insane chemistry. It more felt like friends who happen to kiss twice.

But I have weird likes, don't expect anyone to understand, that's just my opinion.

Sidenote: The Emperor, Concubine Yue, ML two closest guards are everything. I think that combo made it so much better.
