According to the book (I am currently reading it. Chapter 6 entitled Van Gogh is from Nuea's POV), this is what Nuea said about Toh and meeting him. From then he called Toh Van Gogh 😊

"I called the bespectacled boy Van Gogh because I didn't know his name. He always wears glasses and looks very geeky, I think he's from the photography faculty because I always see him carrying a camera wherever he goes.

I don't remember where I met Van Gogh for the first time until one day there was a football match, suddenly I saw a boy with glasses walking around taking photos besides the field. At first, I couldn't remember where I met him, but I was sure that I've seen him before. From then on when I met Van Gogh, I would always remember him."

Oh ok. Or maybe it is because Toh took that picture of Nuea that won the photo contest. I remember Nuea telling Toh something like "I heard that when people like someone, the photos they take for this someone will be good. Does that mean... you like me?"

So maybe Nuea knew from then that Toh liked him but let's wait and see maybe in a flashback later on they will reveal when Nuea began liking Toh 😊

The pace is fine. In the book, from what I read so far, it is even slower than this.

that's what happen on MDL. Once the series get really popular no matter if everyone rates it at a 10, it stays at a certain rating. It happened to Not ME. The last few weeks never went higher than 8.5

From what I read from the book so far I think it is because of the thoughtful gift he gave Lan (Nuea's sister) at the party. I do not know if anyone noticed it in the earlier episodes where Toh was trying to hide at the Engineering faculty and when Toh and his friends where at the table at the Engineering cafeteria but Nuea stopped, looked in his direction and smiled both times.

I still love Cutie Pie. However, what I love about SCOY so far is the real kissing and steaminess that I miss in BLs. Yes, I know it should not be R rating in that department but let us all be honest our hearts flutter at some good old kissing. I also like BLs that are BLs and not those that claim to be BLs but in my opinion are really bromances.
