First of all, that's just how he naturally talks. Second of all, you're a rude, judgemental jerk.
Again, you said: "i dont know why the decision to make Chen speak like a 14 year old girl". I literally copy and pasted that. Chen's voice doesn't resemble how a girl sounds at all. Are you incapable of hearing correctly? Or are you confusing the two characters? Either way, my point still stands.

You literally said "i dont know why the decision to make Chen speak like a 14 year old girl". Obviously Chen has a deeper voice, that's just a fact. So you must have been talking about Key since his voice is lighter than his. Either way, you're a jerk for saying that.

Stop flattering yourself, I just read my notification from reefpicker and decided to call you out. Say what you want about how they deliver their lines, but you know damn well that the main problem that I have with you is your apparent dislike of Key's voice "sounding like a girl". How are you gonna say something like that? What is wrong with you?
This post ISN'T telling you what you can or can not like, what you should or should not find humorous, or that…
Regarding the "I'm just a girl don't hurt me!" line, you forgot to mention that this line was said by a guy. Why would he refer to himself as a girl when he is CLEARLY a guy?
Well, I am Brazilian but I live in Thailand. I can say to you that this idea that BLs are not intended to reach…
Nobody hear is trying to censor you. I'm just telling you that you need to be more respectful if you want people to listen to you. There's a difference. And of course, there are bigger issues out there, but smaller issues shouldn't be ignored either.

Even gay people who enjoy shows like this still have their own qualms about them. These problematic lines may not be harmful to you, but obviously it's clearly harmful to a lot of people in the LGBT community. And you shouldn't be so dismissive and careless about what they actually feel, because you should know better.

Okay, you seriously need to relax. People here are being respectful, and you're acting out. You're not convincing anyone here with your bad attitude, and it only furthers my thinking that the BL genre needs to improve on gay representation, whether they're trying to please the female demographic or not. I like fantasy romance as much as the next person, but it seriously needs to stop with the negative stereotypes and problematic dialogues that are harmful to the gay community. PERIOD.
And yet this is rated 7.4 while the Oxygen has an 8.6. I do not understand. I suspect that younger viewers don't…
This series probably has a 7.4 rating because, well to put it bluntly, the two male leads are just not conventionally attractive. Yeah it's messed up, but that's how it is. Beauty sells, we all know this. And also, we're at episode 4 so far, and their relationship development has been so minimal and dull. We have 4 more episodes left, and yet they still haven't shown much romantic feelings for each other.
I agree with you 100%! Like you, I've been hesitant to trash talk almost any BL because... well, it's BL! It's…
The hazing system storyline was interesting and it actually did have a good start, but the relationship between Arthit and Kong was extremely slow. Arthit was especially annoying because he kept having this "don't touch me or kiss me Kong" attitude, even through SOTUS S. So I felt like his character just didn't develop much at all (even when he was "dating" Kong for YEARS). This relationship dynamic is something that happens in some BL shows, so I consider this as a really irritating trope.
where are we exactly on the "is this actually a BL, though"-front? 'cause I'd argue it most probably isn't...…
I think it's important for the BL genre to evolve and change for the better. It used to be a genre that was targeted for straight girls, and it really shouldn't be that way. The whole "straight boys falling in love with each other" thing doesn't sit right with because it's nonsensical and it does more harm to the gay community than good. Gay people have to constantly prove to people that their attraction for the same gender is valid, innate, and legitimate, and yet you have "straight boys" being attracted to each other in some of these BL dramas? No, just no.
My point is that BL is gay, and should always be gay. It's bizarre that I even have to say this because it's so obvious that two boys falling in love equals homosexuality. I fully understand wanting BL dramas to have elements of fantasy and over-the-top cheesiness, but you can still do that while properly telling gay love stories.

I agree with you about SOTUS...I honestly don't get the hype around that show. And SOTUS S was a huge chore for me to get through. But I can understand the impact that it had, since there were less BL shows back then.
