did you watch the scene after that? it was definitely just Li Cheng dreaming... you might want to watch it again.. I think you might have missed the purpose of that scene.

yeah for sure that scene wasn't so straightforward... but I just have to say that An Jun Peng did an amazing job portraying the emotions... I think he's so handsome and beautiful!!!

hmmm interesting... I thought it was because he realized that he too had feelings for Yong Jie, but because his father still doesn't know about his sexuality and is afraid about how his father will react that he got emotional knowing he can't just come home and feel welcome for who he really is just yet...

I don't care what anyone says about this, but the storyline in this season of History is very interesting to watch! I'm loving every episode so far.. the only thing I hate is waiting for the next episodes to come!! Ugh I need every Sunday to come by ASAP!!!

I wasn't so sure how to make of that scene.. If anyone can explain why Yong Jie had that expression when he woke up and why Xing Si cried like that? I feel like I have an understanding of it, but I'm curious what others thought about that scene..

this is exactly what I've been saying for the last week now... people are treating this show as some kind of teacher of morals.. damn if people don't know what's right or wrong before or without watching this show then damn something is wrong with them. Also, I hate when people call us out and say things like "oh they're defending rape" and I'm like "GROW UP!!" Of course we would never condone rape. I know what's right or wrong with or without this show, but I am able to differentiate what's fiction and what's real. Also, wether you like it or not, things like this happen in real life. It's sad to say but I feel like some people on here doesn't know that the world is not all peaches and rainbows. The world is a dark place and if all ya'll want is happy and sweet shows (then somehow goes on later saying it gets boring when they give you too much of it, which makes no sense) then you're just delusional and get the hell off of your high horse because you're not fooling anyone.

SAM AND YU ARE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER... HOPE THEY GET TO WORK AGAIN IN ANOTHER SERIES! WE NEED IT!!!

I really hope we do have a season 3 with Pei Shou Yi and Yu Zhen Xuan as the main focus.. I mean don't get me wrong I love DeYi, but I feel like their story has come to a close whi ShouZhen has just started to unfold.. and I really find their story so interesting and feel as if there's so much to expand from it... I hope the writers and the producers do something about it... Let's all hope and pray for a S3!

those people just see things in black and white and quickly judge things as they see it... they don't even bother to understand the show in a different way that's possible if they just open their eyes and mind to it... I just can't with their complaints anymore.. they just need to leave if they can't watch the show anymore..

same, but even Netflix has gone back to 1-2 episodes a week.. that's the only thing I like about Netflix over any other network.. I just want to consume the whole content at once, even if I have to wait for another year for the next season.. I'd rather have it that way than waiting for 1 episode a week.

The thing that confuses me the most is that they ask for sweet shows like We Best Love... and then later on they say things like oh "its so boring".... and I'm like umm you literally bash shows like History for putting out stories about rape and ask for sweet moments instead.. I guess that's the thing about everything else in the world- you really can't please everyone.. I just wish they would shut up about it and just leave and not watch the show if they can't handle it anymore... I'm literally so sick of coming back here and reading about the same old complaints....

I swear he's so handsome! I'm obsessed with his visuals along with An Jun Peng... I hope to get some hot scenes later in the season.. If it was to follow History MODC, episode 6 should have that hot scene we are all patiently waiting for.

the things I don't get is that people hate shows that highlight serious topics like this.. then goes to hate shows like WBL when it gets "boring"... at this point, I feel like people are just hating on things just to hate...

waiting for every episode every week is like slow torture... I just want all the episodes now.. I just love the cast so much.. even though so many people are giving it so much hate, I on the other hand see the good in the show and is willing to give the show a chance and see how it all plays out... people are too quick to judge.. not everything are all black and white.. there are gray areas that are part of real life.. ya'll just want to dismiss the things you don't like... anyways I'm so in love with all the cast and I just can't wait to see how their relationships develop...

I honestly don’t get why some people continously watch the show even though it’s triggering for them... just don’t watch it if you can’t deal with the tropes/drama... no one is forcing you to watch it.. maybe you have the problem with separating fiction and real life...

This really is so sad to know... If China wasn't the country like it is now I'm sure the people living there would be more open about who they really are and be able to express themselves more freely... Living in secret and hiding is just one of the most taxing thing on the human soul and mind... Hopefully China will become more progressive in the near future.

Some of us here take the show way too seriously and too far imo. I feel like shows like this with these kinds of tropes/drama are important to have. I'm glad all of us can recognize when its actually rape or not because if we didn't then that would be a problem. We are not born into this world knowing what rape is or like and shows like this educate the new generation about serious situations like this. If we didn't have shows that portray these kinds of events we'd all become numb and ignorant to it, but because we have shows like this to tell us that these kinds of things are wrong and to have that conversation is very important imo. We need to realize that this is just a show at the end of the day. I'm not saying the show is right or wrong, but we need to be able to separate fiction from reality and not get too serious because life itself is already too much to deal with sometimes. I just feel bad for the actors and producers that worked hard for this and it would be such a shame not to give the show the benefit of the doubt before they are able to give the closure and redemption that the characters need and deserve.

I love the drama.... am I the only one that’s enjoying the series still? Y’all it’s just fiction...
