I started season 1, but for some reason it didn't grab my attention as much as I thought it would... but I've been seeing clips with a sweaty shirtless Ahn Hyo Seop and it's definitely making me want to watch it again... but 3 seasons? I'm usually not a fan of shows that have more than one season because usually the quality is not that great or the fear that the show doesn't get renewed and the show doesn't get to do the ending they planned...
I was really anxious about watching the finale, but it turned out to be a good ending...
Although I would like to get a S2, I kind of don't want it as well if all they're gonna do is just add some nonsense drama in their relationship like how most season 2 of shows are done... They are at a good place and I think it's okay if it just stays like that..
This show is definitely a masterpiece. Everyone that was part of this production needs to be commended because they all did a fantastic job creating such a masterful story that was told beautifully. I hope this will be the start of a new wave of KBLs because seriously there's just something about Korean filmmakers that make them stand out from other countries that produce BL series.
been seeing some posts on IG from the official page and their captioning pictures from the episodes as Season 1... I really hate these kinds of cryptic messages but I really do hope that it's real and we get a season 2... This is definitely one of those shows that has a special place in my heart and I will miss the show very much once it's done airing...
is it just me or does anyone else feel like they've been fooled by the pilot episode? I feel like it's not even giving me the same vibe as it was giving in the pilot.. I'm starting to get really bored with the story and they are just not keeping me entertained anymore... I love ForceBook, but my love for them can only take me so far. I'm really honestly just holding on because I just love Force so much... like his visuals and body proportions are sculpted by Gods!

A Japanese production company should redo this show. They'd likely do the plot justice while making the sex scenes…
Exactly what I was thinking.. the story is definitely meant for the Japanese to adapt.. Can you imagine if the same writer and producer for Pornographer remade this? Oh the possibilities..
I didn't think I would make my final review for this show like this, but... (please don't come for me)
Let me start off by saying that I love NetJames so much and I don't think I will ever stop loving them when their chemistry on and off the screen is probably one of the best I've seen to date. Sometimes I can't even tell if they're playing the characters or just being themselves in a scene, which happens a lot in the shows I've seen them in so far. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but in terms of improving their skills as an actor they would need to pull away from playing themselves in future scenes.
The sad thing is that I was very excited for Bed Friend since I heard the news of it being adapted into a series. I even read the book, which is only 1 of 2 Bl novels I've read so far just because I couldn't wait for the show any longer. Before the first episode came out I was actually very nervous because I didn't want to be disappointed if the show didn't come out to my expectation. Unfortunately, it didn't.
I'm not blaming NetJames completely at all for the show being such a disappointment. I definitely blame it most on the directing and editing. I think if they were better guided they would've served better acting performances. Net did mostly amazing, but James , who between the two I will definitely say had a much harder character to portray, sadly underwhelmed. In his emotional scenes he was passive, but while watching him in the scene I was completely taken out because I just kept thinking "where are the tears?". I'm not saying that tears are necessary especially if the emotions in the eyes are there if you know what I mean. James did not get me with his eyes so at least he could've shed a couple of tears to make it more believable. Again, this is where the director or acting coach comes in and help James get to where he needed to be. It was two years in the making, they couldn't take an hour or two to help him? The other thing was the editing- whoever they are they need to go back to take a few more courses or just need to get fired. First thing they need to learn is how not to drag a scene too looooonnnngggg. There are a lot of blank pauses, stares, people walking by, and just random scenes that don't add to to the plot. To me it's just time that they could've used better and I couldn't help but think about that thought in every episode.
It really hurts me that this is NetJames first major acting roles and they were not given what they deserved. I will still support them and love them for as long as they're coupled together and I really hope that their next project is way better than BedFriend. Sadly I would have to give this a low rating.
the actor playing Park is the only reason why I'm watching this to be honest.. He may not be your typical 'handsome' lead but he's definitely my type... there's just something about him that is attractive and endearing for me.. overall this show is just an easy fluff show to watch... don't get your hopes up on quality because this ain't it for you, but if you're looking for something easy if you want a break from the more serious shows you watch then this is for you.
He's so handsome and he's got such a giant peach.. I hope to see him in more BLs in the future.. such a lovely face to look at at in front of my screen!
