No I don’t think so, her curse takes effect within minutes to an hour. As we’ve seen, any boy who interacts with her experiences an incident shortly after. (Also let’s remember the fact it’s only happened to male gender, not female). However FL’s parents’ and ML’s mom’s deaths were natural and unrelated to her curse.

Dunno why y’all complaining for (except slow pace), I personally enjoyed it. Ep 1 to 3 are just a recap of their pasts and different POVs so we can understand the entire image of them.
Now we’re getting into the action in the present. But if you’re expecting romance or them meeting right away, that won’t happen. The ML knows the FL is the witch who harm boys unintentionally so he needs to prepare himself first. Meeting her too soon would put him in danger just like the others.
For romance, it’s definitely gonna be a slow burn and mature but the whole plot revolves around him finding a way for her to live freely without endangering those around her.

Luckily I watched ep 1 to 5 for good subtitles on k***kh and ep 6 to 9, luckily someone fansubbed it so I watched it too, I refused to watch bad subtitles so I’m glad I get to watch this with accurate subtitles
