FINALLY I CAN CONTINUE WATCHING THIS! I thought they stopped subbing after episode 1 but luckily they continued up to episode 4. I'm gonna catch up to episode 4 and then wait for the rest to be subbed.
Aye no way people are dropping this just because of Hyunwook? Y’all he’s an adult playing school roles, he’s not too young to take on other roles outside of that.
Age gap? Bffr. You’ve watched many kdramas with age gaps, and it never crossed your mind. You’re only saying that now because you’re used to seeing him in schoolboy roles.
I will never forget how she grew up: bullied, mistreated, harassed and hated. And yet, her life still ended on a tragic note. K-society is genuinely concerning, it needs serious change.
It's so good, i'm glad they use ep 1 & 2 (and 3) to explain their backstory fully for us to understand what's going on first before jumping back to the present
I’m glad the second leads did not end up together because clearly they had a good relationship but their worlds is different so they should left their relationship in past and remembered it as good memories.
Film boycotts rarely work. Consider the criticism to be an expression of disappointment by fans of the original…
That’s fair, fans have every right to be disappointed especially the story changes. But I think it’s also worth giving the film a chance before assuming the worst. Some adaptations surprise us in a good way while others fail. If the movie does end up being a cash grab, then the criticism will be justified. I think boycotting before watching it might be a bit premature, I just want all of us to not judge badly based off the trailer and wait until it gets released.
Those are probably jisoo haters, i read the manhwa and im anyway excited for it
Not just Jisoo haters, some fans are also upset about the changes made to the story. As an ORV fan myself, I’m lowkey curious about how they plan to make it better than the novel itself, especially with these changes.
On SNS, most ORV fans are already boycotting, wow. I mean can we at least be open-minded and watch it first? We can fairly criticize the movie once it's released but boycotting beforehand seems unfair especially when the cast and staff has worked so hard on this project. Also boycotting won’t change much because the movie will be released regardless. If this movie flops, they likely won’t continue the series due in heavy criticism.
