Not the best bl drama I've watched, could have been a lot better.
?????
- Instead of going through episodes of misunderstanding each other, the couple sat down and talked to each other. I love how this happened multiple times. Communication is key! - Everytime they did something new, they would ask for consent. - I love how the childhood scenes were so innocent. - Non of the important characters are creepy or cringey. - All of them are actually well written and has reasoning why they act in a certain way. - They are aware if it's sexual assault, which lowkey roasted the BL industry. - "If this was a novel, this would be seen as romantic, but it's not." Gosh, I freaking love this line! - The straight couple is such an amazing pairing, feminine guy and masculine woman. - It exposes toxic fan culture from an actor/industry indsider's POV

I understand where you're coming from, but don't forget that Japan is still very conservative politically and isn't equally open to LGBTQ+ compared to other countries. This production being made is a great stepping stone, even though BL manga has been around for decades - this is different. It's not 2D, but it has actual humans (lol) and is still a nice representation for the gays or are still exploring (or a great introduction to those who are unfamiliar with this topic.) And let's also applaud the actors and actresses who are willing to put their names out there with the connection of being in a BL serie - which can be dangerous
It was the last episode unfortunately. I have watched only part of it , without subtitles. and Although I love…
I liked it even though it doesn't have a proper kiss tho. It reminded me of early 2000-10's Japanese dramas where even though it was a straight couple - there were barely any kissing scenes. Let time salvage this "problem". And anyways, I feel like it was inappropriate to have a proper make out scene on the last episodes because of Sota's character. He gets anxious, shy and overwhelmed easily. It was hard for him to accept his own feelings for Shinomiya. Him forcing himself to kiss him on the lips was so not it, and I'm even glad he stopped himself because deep down, he knew he wasn't ready. A peck on the cheek was so innocently cute and is enough for this couple.
It's really bugging me lol they have the balcony side by side but the front doors across from each other!
just imagine a rectangle and the door would be at the long side.. Idk how to explain it, but you can see the layout better when his friend comes to visit when him when they switched apartments.
kinda see where you're going but this is just a fiction and anyways, there are some angles of his faces where…
well- if you're gonna compare it to Japanese production, of course they're gonna do a better job. It's been instilled within their culture to dress as the opposite gender for hundreds of years
2, Puberty - some may look a like from when they were kids, but some look completely different
Guessing that's why he never realised it was him
