everything is so boring.. the acting, the characters, mid mis en scene BORINNGGG FL doesn't even feel angry in situations where she should be, making the story line bland asf and the the way ML was acting by moving his eyes and eyebrows was lowkey an ick disappointing to say that the only fun part was the homewrecker cuz at least she kept stirring the plot
am I the only one having trouble with understanding the political part of the story?? help?
up until now, the only thing I understood was that ML's dad was killed and that the FL's dad has got something to do with it, so they're in opposite sides.. someone from the higher ups have uncovered her dad's fake identity, and that how he was found and killed. they want a map that leads them into a treasure, but her uncle secretly burned it, but no one knows that and that's why they want to steal the map and her kill her as well
and the fact that the crown prince has 200 thousand crops (?) that burdens the farmers especially when theres famine and war going on
??
why did one of the dudes in front of the map go to jail and who was that man who put him to jail, and why where they there in the first place?? whats going awwwnnn

what I did like were the twists that I didn't really read in the webtoon. This production has a life of its own. There are some new character, some additional, and some have completely different back stories. Tbh, I didn't mind how a lot of the side characters changed so much, but I do miss the comedy aspect. I felt like I wasn't watching an adaptation anymore. I do like it when they mesh the story line for a bit of where they mix high school and university (if you've read the webtoon, you'll know what I mean) I like the fact that we get to see Reina and Shun actually enjoy their hobby together even until the end. The way they hug each and kiss each other is such heart fluttering, I feel like no one can break them apart based on how tight they hug each other lol.
if you're gonna watch this, don't connect it with the Korean version so you don't get disappointed! The story…
I got halfway into the movie and got angry.. why did they change it so much??? "he forces her into an unexpected master-servant relationship!?" PLEASEE all he did was tutor her every Tuesday... I don't like the fact that we don't get to see the boys rekindle their friendship, which is a crucial part of the story line in my opinion.. also, why did Yu hit on her so many times? such a red flag.. I don't understand how Reina continued their friendship.. In the original webtoon he was so patient, understanding and was such a green flag, I'm so irritated at this character.. I didn't feel like a lot of time passed after Shun left for the US, so when Yu was having a fit saying that he was there beside her when he was gone, I couldn't feel it, which was disappointing as a viewer. The characters are poorly written in comparison to the webtoon and Korean version.

in the two special 2 episodes you can totally see Hiroyoshi's acting has significantly improved. he can control his eyes and expressions a lot better compared in the beginning. i think if he were to play another character like Watarai, he would totally crush it straight from the get go.
1. They play her as a girl that doesn't ever wear.Makeup and you could obviously see it in her tomboy.Looks she's…
I somewhat agree with you.. but in my point of view, she was so much more confident in hs, where she had shorter hair. she just has expectations of having longer hair, being more feminine and start wearing makeup. When you've worn a uniform for the past few years, you'll typically loose your sense of style. Also- I think we all loose our selves once in a while cuz of expectations that were set in us mentally, but don't understand that sometimes, going back, being confident in one self is the key. But then again, she was also bright as a person, it was just her physical look that was bugging her. When everyone around you is so bright, you can't help yourself but wonder about your appearance as well, and that's exactly what happened to the FL. And mind you, after 5 years, her fashion and makeup wan't too feminine, but she did look stronger and confident on her own. She owned that suit and heel outfit! Her look was such a great combination of who she is a s a person.
