I think HJ used the "break the love spell" to make sure that SY was really in love with her and not just under the spell. She was using the "bad" spell book, not the first "good" spell book.

ML isn't cheating because he broke up with SFL at the start of the show. She just won't go away, but he did break up with her. And FL isn't dating anyone, so she's not cheating.

I think it was the "break the love spell" spell, because that's one of the ones she read in the "bad" spell book.

I don't think she can do spells twice because she has to burn the page with the spell on it.

3. So creepy gardener guy really is the stalker. How he and SFL teamed up isn't clear. I wonder if when he said FL looked like his dead wife, he was talking about someone who's been dead for centuries.

4. SML is also creeping me out.

5. FL's nightmare totally creeped me out.

6. So did FL do the "cancel love spell" on everyone? Is that to test if ML really is in love with her, and possibly also to kill off the love effects of all the other men who have drunk the love potion?

7. So do we not find out what happened between ML and gardener guy in the nursery?

I thought it was the adult Joseon Hong Joo who was left on the old lady's door step in the rain. I got the feeling she had been attacked and "sent home" to the old lady, and now the old lady is going to curse the ML's family.

There's nothing wrong with it. It's just I can't imagine what a 35 year old, established doctor would see in a 20 year old, recent school dropout, other than he's cute and he saves abandoned kittens.

Thank you. Everyone looks so young (I'm really old) so it just seemed like he just dropped out of school, while she's an established doctor.

ACK! Did the writers forget that Kwang Shik's hands were all bandaged up and "unusable" last episode. He was supposed to be "out of commission" for psychic work for weeks. Here his hands are bandage free and he's making deliveries carrying stuff.

I don't want it to be the Shaman. I like the Shaman. I want the serial killer to be Sun Woo. He hates bad people. Every single person who was killed betrayed someone. With every single reason Sun Woo keeps getting ruled out, it just makes me more suspicious of him.

I don't think it's Assemblyman Cha's second in command. We know nothing about him. It's got to be one of the main characters.

Also, I want FL's aunt's ex-husband to be the next victim. Come on Schadenfreude!

I'm also a little weirded out by FL liking SML. Didn't someone mention she is 35? Didn't he just drop out of grad school? That would make him what? 23-ish? It's not the age the difference. It's just the actual ages that make it seem like they have nothing in common. SunWoo has told her practically nothing about himself other than that time he said he wasn't a good person.

Yeah, but he hasn't been wearing a hat, and his hair is thick. They haven't mentioned him wearing a wig. And FL has been touching butts in crowds and in the Butt Chair. So not as much as Kwang Shik, but still a lot of butts. I just wish the writers would throw a few loose hairs here and there.

So now we have Checkov's Gun Book of Curses. Don't show us a book of curses if it's not going to get used. So, who will Hong Jo curse? She's not the type, but . . . Na Yeon to get her comeuppance?

Did the writers forget that the psychics hair is supposed to fall out? Kwang Shik's and Ye Bun's hair are both as full as ever. Or is Kwang Shik wearing a wig? I know she's taking vitamins or whatever, but they've been touching so many people and still have lots of hair.

Yeah, me too. I feel like Flower Guy is too obvious, and he really has not done anything bad. He asked her to dinner. He brought her flowers. He held an umbrella over her head. He said she looked like his dead wife (OK that's a bit creepy, but not terrible).

But SML? He warned FL off him at first. Then he moves into her house, and starts calling it our house. Suddenly he starts liking her. He doesn't want ML to install cameras. He's creeping me out. He doesn't even make FL blush anymore. Even FL feels something is off, I think.

No, no. I normally love shows like this. But having worked in this sort of business environment, where the top manager dated someone under his command, it's a huge NONO, and an HR nightmare. It was a terrible mess. He was fired. Her career was ruined for "sleeping her way to the top." New rules about whether married or dating couples could even work at the same company were invented, which meant a lot of people got fired. It was a mess.

I would have had more respect for the writers if they were more sensitive to the power dynamics this situation entails. The only thing they did was have ML ask for permission before kissing her. I would have loved it if ML had proactively said, "I want to date you. Please let me transfer you to another position, so you do not report to me." Think of all the problems and solutions that could have caused in the show. OR, ML has her transferred to a different department, but doesn't tell her why and then tries to date her. There were so many options that could have shown better HR strategies.

I know, I know, it's just a show. I shouldn't get so worked up. I'm watching Behind Your Touch and Destined With You, which also have even more unrealistic plots, but King the Land is based a bit more in reality, and this scenario really is an HR nightmare if it were to happen in real life.

That said, I just watched the WTF episode and really cracked up.

Flower guy said he drank from her pink tumbler because he wanted to know what kind of tea she drank.
