if you truly loved someone, you wouldn't insist on marrying them when you know you only have about a year left to live. That doesn't feel like love to me.

I haven't watched this yet, so I could be completely wrong, but from what I've seen and heard, I'm a little skeptical. My issue isn't that the FL is too smart—I actually like intelligent female leads. It's when they're so emotionally guarded that the romance ends up feeling one-sided, like the ML is doing all the chasing and carrying the relationship. Hopefully the chemistry balances out as the story progresses. I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
K-Drama 
Especially the Empress. Every time she's angry, she just goes, **"Xiao Wuyi!"** 💀
The delivery is so dramatic that it cracks me up every single time.
Now let's just hope Zhang Linghe doesn't spend the whole drama being love-sick. 🤞
