I think you need to suspend your belief during this part lol
geechoo, LOL. Okay, just like I have to suspend that YuQuian Quian way back then knew mouth to mouth resuscitation to save him and had a concoction of pepper spray to use against attackers? I know this is trivial in light of all the heavy spoiler talk, but I was just wondering. Thanks for your time.
Ok, I know everyone is talking about the leaked episodes, but really I don't care. I'm just going to watch two new episodes everyday until it's finale. I love this series along with millions/billions of other fans. But, what I am most bothered by is how Qin Min's supposedly scarred face that he hid for years behind a half mask, become so pristine and so handsome in the current tale? Did he undergo some ancient Chinese plastic surgery? Did I miss an explanation or something, or is this guy a replacement for the real Qin Min? I'm hoping someone can explain what I am so confused about right now.
I think Vier understands that Kelvin is mentally ill and I'm not sure what his plan is, but after episode 5 it…
Ah ha...okay thanks, but still reading comments, and still on the fence on this series. I really don't want to burst my Peat/Fort Bubble of happiness. LOL.
I was so on the fence about continuing to watch YESTERDAY THE SERIES; and, I come back each day to read your comments just to see if I made a mistake in stopping at Episode 2. I keep hoping something reasonably sane will transpire in the storyline because I love Peat/Fort so much. However, even the most devoted viewers here seem to have no idea what is going on in this twisted and convoluted tale. Kelvin's story is so messy and Vier appears to be a willing victim of toxic manipulation. The only thing I can positively see is that both leads are doing an exceptional job of acting to still capture viewership and popularity.
i agree the character being cringe not always though sometimes kelvin feels very scary vilian smtym but certain…
lamkaitsyn, this series may be a DNF for me. I have a light hearted, more fun image of Peat/Fort in my mind despite their obviously strong versatility in depicting such flawed characters here. I really wanted to like YESTERDAY and looked forward to watching it, but I am struggling in my decision to continue. Please let me know if this twisted tale becomes one of vindication for my much beloved duo. I must admit that I was so disturbed by Episode 2 that I stopped and began watching DUANG WITH YOU and MY PERSONAL WEATHERMAN to help me feel better. Thank you, lamkaitsyn, for your response!
I am in a dilemma about YESTERDAY The Series. You must understand that Peat/Fort are one of my favorite couples, and I've loved everything they've worked on together; however, this series is dark and quite a departure from say, LOVE SEA or LOVE IN THE AIR. I've watched the first two episodes and am usually so taken by Peat's performances, but while his acting is on par as usual in YESTERDAY, his character is becoming a bit too cringy for me and I fear he's only going to worsen in toxicity. I am not getting a great feeling from the series previews nor its opening introduction scenes and think I may pass or wait for the entire series to drop and see if there's a happy ending or hope for redemption for its lead characters. I could wait it out like I did for TO MY SHORE, in spite of all the Black Flags for Fan Xiao, and I absolutely loved TO MY SHORE'S ending. I am wondering if there are other Peat/Fort fans out there feeling the same way as I do or am I the only one?
Wang Yibo was never a 'wooden' actor. Some people who only saw him in less expressive roles like in Cql or Luoyang…
I apologize, you made really good points. I agree, I have seen him mostly in less expressive roles. I will view him with less judgment from now on. Thanks, Lucky Fire
The awkward unavoidable meeting with a co-worker, has set about a domino effect for our budding duo's relationship. Tojo Susume's visuals and manner are so irresistibly disarming that it is hard for Keishi not to fall for him; however, this new roadblock of being discovered, has rattled him, and did some major damage to Susume's confidence in their relationship. I'm dreading the next episode, but I can't wait for next Friday for Epi 10 to drop.
Okay, I gave this one a try with a couple of episodes, but it is so silly! No hating on me, because I'm back to give it another go because I like Nut and the cast visuals are great. Also, because everyone here loves it, and I need to give it a chance to work its magic on me.
This series had me from the first scene! Such a cute coupling of Kevin and Kim Kang Min. The acting is wonderful, especially Kevin whose fanboy astonishment of coming face to face with his idol is almost his undoing! I can tell I'm going to enjoy each episode already. Choi Si Yeol's declaration that Na Ae Jun was "his type" had me fangirling! LOL. I love the height difference and the chemistry between these two.
I like SJK in his polished roles as a military man to cool lawyer; however, this new role as a grounded everyday man has me intrigued and looking forward to watching him portray this character. Good for him, he's choosing interesting roles that are quite diverse and challenge him as a professional actor.
I really want a Season 2! I thought it wrapped up too quickly! I want to know if Konno goes to NYC or if he stays. The ending scene tends to make me think the latter, but I feel there needs to be more to their story. Particularly , after the trio's Indie band signs the contract. For me, there just wasn't enough and I want more! The two male leads are incredibly good looking and I want to see them together in S2!
Unless they added another ep, hate to tell yah, just one more ep to go. Outside of the drama in their personal…
Thanks, Zack. Yes, just one more episode to go. I think I'm going into mourning after Revenged Love ends. That last scene in CC's jail cell about broke me. His last words to WSW keep ringing in my ears. You are right, both characters have grown and changed so much over the course of the drama. This one is definitely going to be my top favorite of all BLs, and I had a pretty long list of favs before it.
Episode 23 was a killer. It was packed full of drama, and the acting from all performers had me on edge. I love this series with just one more episode to go. I truly am going to miss it, Zi yu and Tian Xu Ning. These two have taken the BL World by a storm and upped the genre. I hope we see them perform together again.
I knew I recognized Dai from the reality series, The Boyfriend, series the minute he popped in the scene! I love seeing him act. How did I miss that he's an actor? I really enjoy him and Shun being together. Now, I'll be able to see Dai perform in this new series! BTW, I'm enjoying watching the main couple in this one!
Oh my goodness! Episode 18 is epic in terms of being crucial to the storyline! So much happened, I'll be watching it again to absorb all the ramifications for future episodes to come. I was so surprised at all that this episode revealed to us. The fallout from this "glued to the screen" episode will be heart wrenching for all of us. Aside, the acting is superb from all and the closeups conveying emotions are excellent, particularly for this one. Can't wait for next week despite the pain it will bring me...
I adore this series! Biting at the bit because I have to wait a whole week for new episodes. I love the primary couple because their chemistry is so intense. The secondary couple has my attention as well and I'm hoping things start heating up for them as well. OMG, the way Chi Cheng looks at you know who, melts me!!!
watching the main couple in this one!
