Mother Meng is so creepy being so obsessed with perfection that she would rather her family be miserable than have any “flaws” her husband needs to grow some balls and put a stop to this behavior and I understand that Xu Qin doesn’t want to lose the only family she has left but she needs to realize this isn’t healthy and that its better for her to cut off these connections and be happy with her friends and lover than to feel like a caged pet with her so call “family”

I broke my promise of leaving 2 episodes unwatched everyday and now I’m upset and impatient these last few episodes were so good

my only complaint is the subs its crazy that they are an official streaming platform but allow subs like this also idk why y’all complaining about the cgi its not that bad istg yall never satisfied with the cgi in dramas bc yall so used to seeing Marvel movies with amazing cgi every historical drama page I go to someone is complaining about some cgi thats not even that bad

I’ve been so busy wit my summer semester that I couldn’t keep up wit the air date of this drama but now my semester is almost over and this drama came at the perfect time the drama gods must be on my side this time 😭😍

also I feel like they are going down the “Imma annoy this person and never take no for an answer until they eventually give up and see my charm and like me back” route with Anni and Zhaoxun and I absolutely hate when they do that with 2nd leads this is why I hate 2nd lead couples bc they always force them together in the stupidest ways

if this is the way Ruoyun acts when Tianyu just simply has a crush on someone I wonder what shit she’s done when he was dating someone I feel bad for him and his exes having an outsider all up in your relationship is very frustrating
