it felt shady asf to me when she asked for her children to be spared bc yk damn well she wasn’t even thinking about doing anything to yall but now you making it seem like she’s this evil petty woman that was never apart of your family you might’ve not had genuine care for her but she’s been under the same roof as you for 16? years to know that she would rather just cut ties with yall if anything rather than outright waste energy on petty revenge it KILLS me that A’Chou doesn’t have a genuine elder around her

I know she’s given up the name A’Chou now but I don’t like calling her Wei Rao bc no one in the Wei family has been genuine with her even after finding out her real identity atleast when she was A’Chou she had her sister everyone in the Wei family is either using her to raise their status or feel guilty but still not really doing anything for her as a family

I seen someone ask on twitter how A’Chou knew so much about the law during the palace scene with Han Liao the prince and the emperor I had the same question at first but brushed it off bc I assumed either bitao or one of her old neighbors taught her or its well known laws even among commoners apparently there’s a whole scene where she asks Zhongkai to teach her about the law also the fact Jundai had final words b4 she died they rushed her death so much that so many ppl including myself were questioning if she is really dead or not these are little things that could’ve brought so much more life to the characters and wrapped up so many questions

I remember fans releasing bts videos earlier in the year when they were still filming and everything looked so much more intense than when you finally see the official scenes they really played in that editing room

I’ve seen/heard of some deleted scenes on twitter and I feel like the editors/ppl who has a say in what to keep and drop really killed this drama bc this could’ve easily been a rated 9 drama like POJ or maybe even a 10 if they just kept a little bit more of those scenes and its not even crazy stuff they deleted either but ig its doing well enough so nothing to be outraged about just a little disappointed

also so much could’ve been avoided if these bumass nobles weren’t so obsessed with their reputation and power now we gotta deal with she devil part 2: return of the bitch for the rest of the drama they deadass could’ve just told atleast close family the truth of the tom fuckery that’s been going on for over a decade

I put this on hold when ep 59 dropped but got curious today and read some comments but now my motivation to continue to watch this has hit rock bottom this might stay in my on hold for 10 years if I don’t decide to officially drop it

back again to hate on the person who came up with the 1 ep a day trend I curse them with an eternity of misplacing their glasses once a day and having to search all over the place for 10 minutes to find them. If they don’t wear glasses I cast them with losing their right sock. I cast everytime they warm up their food the outside is piping hot while the middle is cold. I cast wet toilet seat everytime they have to do the 2. I cast pockets getting stuck on door knobs every hour. I cast itchy eye corners. and lastly I cast foot cramps every 3 days 🙃

my problem with her is that she’s literally the exact person she hates she of all ppl should know what its like to be pushed into a corner by ppl of higher power and yet she’s doing the exact same thing to A’Chou not only that she hates the Wei family but is letting them talk in her ear believing everything they say I would understand if she actually raised her daughter(whether real or fake) or was either in her life a little more but she only watched that girl from a distance a couple times and only recently came into her life she’s a foolish selfish hypocrite and that’s why I don’t want A’Chou to forgive her even tho she most likely will

crazy bc they barely respect mothers irl the amount of times I’ve seen mothers get dogged on for just having a life outside of their kids and or being a wife is insane even when they are doing their duties as mothers they don’t leave em alone public breastfeeding is a discourse I see monthly
