To me it still makes sense that he hits him there as thyme is changing but isn’t fully changed. He is very emotional about Gorya anyway. Tesla was only nicer in comparison to the other versions, he still a dick in this version he literally asked thyme if he could have sex with the girl he’s in love with AFTER HIM? that is so nasty oh my god If I was a teenager I would of punched him too.

Ren and Goryas scene really sold the episode for me. I was tearing up I can’t lie lol this show is so good at tugging at your heartstrings when it needs to. the sketchbook was such a great touch !

Yeah I understand about the teenagers thing that’s why I understood her FIRST lie but the SECOND lie she literally lied for no reason like the first lie was “what happened to your phone” gorya “thinking oh I can’t tell him about ren obviously” so of course she lies
But the second lie when she literally brings up her first lie and then lies again when he didn’t even ask for any clarification? so why did she feel the need to lie at that moment? Just feeling Guilty Maybe? Then that makes more sense ..Again I wish it was shown abit more. This kinda leads back to my point that she shouldn’t of needed so much convincing to go on the date because at this point it’s meant to be clear to us she is starting to like thyme a little so then the second lying thing would make more sense because the guilt makes sense then because she likes him abit! But she’s still being standoffish so I don’t understand

Hmmm🤔 honestly this episode was a rollercoaster because sometimes the writing was fantastic again and sometimes it just fell flat/didn’t make sense?
1. WHY after their cute moment of being locked into together, learning more about eachother that it took so many people to convince her to go on the date? It just didn’t make sense. And it felt like the script was taking a step back because that felt icky to me. she didn’t wanna go on the date she should go.period. Gorya has been standing up to him the whole time so why not now? I guess it could be because she is starting to like him slowly but I just wish it was more obvious I.e… it wouldn’t of taken so much convincing like huh
2. Gorya “violence is never the answer” yes she ate with this monologue but then right after that she is violent towards him by throwing the Teddy at him like what kinda nonsense😂
3. Thyme tells goyra that ren helped him pick clothes and this is when gorya decides oh let me lie even more about seeing ren??come on lol I just feel like it wasn’t needed she didn’t need to lie then. i understood the first lie when but for her to bring it up AGAIN (cuz he didn’t even bring up the phone he only talked about ren) and lie was only done so he could put the phone back in his pocket so he could still be holding on to the phone when he sees Ren and Gorya hugging..that’s not good writing to me, feels like a cop out idk

Other than that I loved the date! It was interesting that they changed what tesla says about Kanin and Goyra and made it way nicer than the other versions lol cuz in HYD kanins boyfriend calls both of the girls ugly💀 still excited for the next episodes ..6 days left 😢😢

why is saying their feelings and thoughts clearly unrealistic? It’s not as if when this occurs they are speaking to themselves? If anything it’s trying to show character growth as they are actually talking through issues you know like adults lol.

Well..it is a drama adapted from a manga so they’re literally following the mangas narrative plot lol. Even so I would like to go on record saying that f4 thailands characters atleast act the most realistic compared to the other adaptions.

lol its not an adaption of Meteor garden, its an adaption of Hana Yori Dango which is a Japanese manga that has a had different adaptions across asia. if you read more than just that in the description it would of kinda told you that lol but Meteor garden is jusst the chinese adaption and it was geered towards younger viewers. you should just give the first episode a try you will see a huge difference. this is probably the best HYD adpation so far because theyve reworked the plot towards 2022 society

I agree with everything you’ve said. Superhero female lead vs normal girl. While I do enjoy both it’s easier to feel my heart hurt when watching the normal girl go through stuff than it does the “superhero” not that I didn’t enjoy the punch in HYD but it didn’t have the emotional impact of F4’s kick. I mean even the way the makino does a little boxing jogging pose thing before she punches him it was ridiculous 😂 but I laughed 😂

Yeah I’ve watched three episodes so far and Domyouji was mad the guys sent didn’t r*pe her? Like what the hell omg and I read that the manga is worse when it comes to s*xual assu*lts So at this point I think this story overal is not for me lol so I appreciate F4 Thailand even more now.

They really made it better and in line with the views of society today. Even the way they chAnged it so thyme drowns the guys as punishment for trying to assault her. But in HYD Domyouji drowns someone for not assaulting her already?? like I don’t know how I’m meant to enjoy their love story after that ew! also the way the second male lead saves her from that attack is kinda lacklustre compared to the Thailand version lol he made it rain😭

However I can appreciate why people think it’s the best version the pacing is nice and some moments did make me laugh and I do enjoy the comical over the top comic style of things but I can’t get over how terrible Domyouji is😭😭
