just woke up and saw finale a trending and I started sobbing. This show has had such a hold over me for months I feel like I’m going through a bad breakup. I’m just gonna miss it so much never thought I would ever enjoy a HYD story the way I love this one. I’m so sad y’all. I know I can rewatch but it’s not the same lol

1. In the warehouse scene, Gorya pleads to Thyme to fight the assailants back, but Thyme doesn't do it because…
I think honestly stop holding gorya on a pedestal. No offence cuz i was also doing the same thing until the zoo date I realised the writers are not writing her to be this like glowing angel of good vs rhymes “devil” I mean sometimes she is not much better than thyme. She lies for no reason. she can resort to violence to if she needs to. that’s the difference between them tho cuz thyme seemed to just like hitting people lol. But like they’re both meant to be these beasts in different ways.
Of course she would instruct him to fight back. She only fights back where it’s nesscary. It was life or death.. she didn’t know if talay would stop or not. Neither did thyme but as he said if he fights back he’s loses anyway.
And your second point again stop putting her on a pedestal and you’ll understand her more. She’s a teenage girl the moral compass can be slippery. but now I’m thinking about it..I don’t know if gorya ever even wanted thyme to be PUNISHED for the red card? She just wanted him to stop and atone .. but now after they’ve declared their LOVE for each other officially she of course doesn’t want to be apart from him anymore. She even says she will be by his side from now on. Idk I need to do a rewatch to remember what goryas motivations were before but it made sense to me

Step one: the whole season is free on wetv. Google: we tv heart signal 4
Step two: google downsub. you download the korean subtitles by using the we tv link video link and save as an srt file.
[korean subtitles instead of chinese because it translates to english better, there are stil alot of things that are off like the gender gets reversed sometimes but again its not so annoying lol]
step three: google: translatesubtitles. translate from korean to english and resave it
step four: google chrome extension: subsital you can load subtitles into this and it plays it on google chrome with the video on wetv

I understand her being stand off ish but the thing is they shared such a cute moment where they get to know eachother on a deeper level while they were locked in together over night- and to me this shifted the tone of their relationship. She shouldn’t need SO MUCH convincing you know? It just annoyed me abit that they kept going on at her..for her to go on the date. She could of had some self reflection cuz it made it seem like it wasn’t her choice and that’s icky to me
