As someone who watched the kdrama, I totally get the hesitation, but honestly? It’s still worth it. Even with the tweaks they made to the original Ice World story, the drama is still really solid. Just give it a shot.

I like their chemistry too. Esp this is a non romance drama but they delivered. Theres also limited scenes to show them together as the focus is on the thriller/mystery side.
Unlike some full blown romance (with lots of make out scenes) dramas but chemistry felt flat.
Siren’s Kiss is a classic case of "Great Actors, Mid Script." The blame for the show's shortcomings lies squarely with the writing and inconsistent direction (sometimes).

I enjoyed it more than the Japanese version. Yes it has flaws (like any dramas) but its enjoyable to watch. All the casts did great especially park min young as the titular role.
Also, ratings have absolutely nothing to do with the actual quality of a series. Just saying
