You remember this part towards the last episodes. When Xinzhi locked Shen Li in the extranatural law to protect her and she was angry at his behavior. She did everything to get out. Then Xinzhi gave her his sword and told her if she wants to get out she'll need to kill him. I remember at that moment, I was afraid that she would really do it because of all xianxia and stabbing lovers that I had watched. Then you know Shen Li's personality, very strong-willed, a fire and determined. I was seriously satisfied that the only thing she was thinking about was hurting him even more than he was. And she didn't do it, in short to say what make me love even more about this couple you know finally lovers liking and looking like actual lover.

That’s why this drama is excellent. Not only are the actors incredible but the director/scriptwriter can make the viewer not just confortable but also uncomfortable to better understand each situation the leads face.

This drama wants to hit where it hurts and I’m here for it.

The scene where they were ready to have sex with FL thinking about what her mother said and suddenly stating "Why did you force me?" was so disturbing not just for ML although I understand where she coming from.

Anyway, i’ve reached a point where I don't even comment or dual on moms in dramas anymore. As they all compete to show us who will be the worst lol. I’m just annoyed though. I would recommend Wonderland of love and Who rules the world. Not exact like Shen Li but the criteria are there. I really liked the chemistry between the leads and the quality time spent together. They’re both strong FL too.
