It’s an shame, I would have preferred that they followed closely the donghua to spare us from annoyances for subplots which could be done in 3 episodes max but taking the whole drama. At least to be much more focused on our male main characters prior. That said despite that the world-building is different but it worked rather well if only it had more followed donghua chronology honestly it would have been more thrilling.

Yes, you won't regret continuing to watch. Just put yourself in quiet place so you won’t miss anything and got distracted. The donghua has been well adapted, whether in terms of visual design but still based on the Three Kingdoms events. You definitely must be attentive about everything which are important for your appreciation. A good mix of politics, with a well-enumerated historical context, and great fighting and action that follows. Sometimes live-action are better when it comes to show more depth to characters from novel materials than donghua so it’s still interesting to see anyway. I hope too because it really deserves an nice one.

I really like how this drama is down to earth on many level. It was quite interesting episodes 6-7 about LT starting his new job, trying to find his place which is not easy to adapt with such a tough boss. On the other hand, with AZQ who tries to be there to comfort and support him although she has her own difficulty to find work. I don't even want to think about the future and I want just to vibe with them because they are such an heartwarming couple.

So I love how AZQ manage her brother giving cool big sister energy. I love this couple so much already. They have such a nice chemistry and easiness onscreen. No give and take relationship only on one side. They’re super involved in each other's lives and their understanding and communication would make you think of a couple who have been together for many years. They’re so refreshing in an natural and realistic way.
