yeah, the first 4 episodes were really good, FL could have done so much with her knowledge of the future, but…
Your expectation is ridiculous and makes no common sense , the drama is not a magic show to change the hearts of evil people.

Love's ambition is really good . The male lead was a bit annoying at first, but I’m starting to warm up to his character Lusi is performing excellently in the drama ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ and that' s all I meant to say to the user here , I won’t be discussing it further.

He didn’t defeat the assassins effortlessly either he was clearly injured during the fight. Even if I don’t like the show It’s common sense that royals would be capable of defending themselves. if he were completely incapable of fighting, his uncle wouldn’t have seen the need to stage a war against him in the first place. In Mr. Queen, the queen herself wasn’t highly skilled in combat but still managed to take down a soldier, the king couldn’t defend himself the female lead had to step in and do it for him in one scene šŸ™ƒ. it’s about determination and effort, not just mastery. you probably expected to see a flashback of him training , we can just agree to disagree on this and i will not bother replying back.

There are plenty of dramas where the king isn’t shown training or fighting until later, yet it’s understood that they’ve received combat training as part of their royal duties. It’s not unrealistic for a king to know how to defend himself, even if he isn’t a full-on warrior. Many historical series take that creative liberty it’s not exactly new or unique to this drama the uncle in this show was able to fight, yet he was never described as a warrior either.

I don’t get the hate for this drama it was a fun and comedic watch. I’d love to try more historical K-dramas with time travel if anyone has any recommendations.

a fun watch overall. just a few complaints. the last episode was really bad. the plot quickly became nonsensical.…

an acquantaince of mine said she and her brother (who doesn't even watch asian dramas) loved this show, so i went…
she’s a chef, and the drama stayed true to that. There wasn’t much else to add to her character since everything revolved around her cooking. from the start, her identity as a chef was clear, and through her creative food ideas, she did bring small meaningful changes in the palace

I felt the chemistry between the leads right from the first episode. Their banter and small arguments were so natural and fun to watch. Even though romance wasn’t the main focus, it still stood out to me, and I hope they get paired together again.

Please don't. You'll lose brain cells watching The plot is a mess, very childish and does not tie up well at all.…
The king isn’t dumb. I think we must have watched different dramas he just has a bad temper, and the plot isn’t a mess.

ML completely makes this drama. kind of wish he gets cast in something more serious because he has a lot of presence.…
If you think she can’t act, try acting yourself and see how others judge you.

Most of the reviews feel exaggerated about 85% of them don’t make much sense. For a 12-episode drama, the team still pulled things off well. It’s always had a mix of humor and over-the-top moments, suddenly people act as if the final episode ruined everything. The female lead, in particular, is getting unfair criticism, at no point did she know about Prince Jesan’s plans; if she had, she wouldn’t have kept it from the king. What she’s actually aware of is the consort’s corruption, which the king himself recognizes but dismisses since he assumes everyone is against him and refuses to take her seriously. There are users saying, ā€œwrite your own reviewā€ how is that possible when drama trolls seem to be around here.
