Reading everything you wrote was surprising. The female lead is obviously the central figure of the story, and the narrative and every character within it revolves around her. You called the drama overrated, said it doesn’t merit its current ratings and you still plan to continue watching it ? 😭

This drama is incredibly engaging but also mentally exhausting . Episode 8 was really good, I hope viewers remember that it’s possible to dislike a character without directing that negativity toward the actress. The writer clearly wanted to prepare the audience for the developments we’re seeing now, which is why her character was introduced openly and without sugarcoating anything.

The plot closely follows the original webtoon, and all of the characters are portrayed as they were in the source material. The decline in ratings isn’t related to the storyline; every currently airing drama on the platform has experienced a similar drop at the same time.

While I understand your angle, I still don’t see neither did the writer write her as a psychopath Ah-Jin’s behavior as psychopathic. Planning and manipulation alone don’t indicate psychopathy the emotional driver behind those actions matters more.

Sociopaths are not incapable of strategic behavior; they simply plan from a place of emotional intensity, personal offense, and environmental shaping rather than the emotional detachment seen in psychopathy.

Ah-Jin’s decisions are fueled by hurt, fear, rage, and a desperate need to assert control all emotional states. Her planning doesn’t make her calm or neutral; it just means she channels her emotional instability into more controlled expressions of retaliation.

I’m aware of that as well. I didn’t want to go too deep into it which is why I focused more on sociopathy . The topic itself is actually pretty fascinating to look into

I think because both psychological terms have their differences and common traits.

This is a good summary of her story, i cannot predict the ending because innocent people are involved it might be a heartbreaking ending

I agree, there would be a disaster because this story is getting more intense. I did some research based on a link a user posted in this space, Sociopathic tendencies include a lack of empathy and remorse, manipulative and deceitful behavior, impulsivity, and a disregard for social norms and the rights of others.

Even with a few flaws, I wouldn’t call the writing weak. People interpret characters in their own ways, but since this drama is airing both in Korea and internationally, it’s interesting that this comment section is the only place where I keep seeing the term “psychopathic” used for her. I haven’t really seen this take on other platforms.
