One of my OG steamy vertical cdramas. The couple really leaned into the steamy scenes but I wasn’t as enthusiastic about the male lead’s look. This one followed my favorite troupe of reborn and make scumbag ex regret, while in the arms of another man. It’s like narcotics for me and idk why loool.
Anyway, I’m a total fan of the actress and I love her ability to convey a balance of cute and sultry. I personally hope she does a drama with a lead like Wang Wang, from “Starlight Accompanies My Intentions” / “Starlight By My Side Knows My Heart”(?) or an edgy type…with glasses?
I love historical Chinese romance drama. It really is an addiction, I can’t resist. At first modern romance Korean dramas used to be my favorite but after I watched Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, it was all over. My first historical drama was actually Novoland, and I thought it was AWFUL. I wish there were a genre of Korean historical dramas that is comparable to Xianxia or Wuxia. My favorite historical romances are Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Ashes of Love, the Legend of Fu Yao and General and I. I feel like General and I doesn’t get a lot of love but I really like it, the male leads were awesome. Currently watching Goodbye My Princess and Story of Ming Lan.
