Is it just me who’s sympathy for Wan Soo completely dried up after finding out he killed Suk Hee’s mother? Yeah I get his family was trash but Suk Hee treated him with respect and he couldn’t even give it back by at least being a bit remorseful about murdering her mum. He even joked with her saying he did kill her when he did, that’s not something to keke about ?, and when Ms Han said he killed her, he just seemed so unfazed by it, like did you forget you actually murdered a whole person? Someone like that doesn’t deserve empathy imo, guilty people never answer questions directly, they always skirt around the issue, which is what exactly Wan Soo. I just can’t believe he killed someone over a mum who couldn’t give 2 tosses about him ?she definitely didn’t deserve that loyalty, using her children as a meal ticket and saying wan soo should have been kidnapped instead of wan joo, what a weird thing to say ?. Especially when I thought he was the realest person in that den of Cobras, it seems like a betrayal and disingenuous behaviour, it seemed like everything was a joke to him and it was only after he was found out that he decided to commit suicide, he didn’t even have the guts to face Suk Hee, absolute coward. I don’t feel any sympathy, sorry. I’ll only apologise for this mini essay lol, I didn’t know it would get so long, was just frustrated.

Yeah they become friends but I don’t think they find out until the last few episodes, which is a bit annoying ?

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think that the twins' parents were in the wrong, especially with how they handled the situation prior to leaving the palace, they didn't deserve to die though and the auntie took it too far by taking out her anger on their children. This doesn't seem like a spoiler as it's literally in the first episode, but I'll hide it anyway.

I decided to finally watch this drama after hearing my mum talk about it when I was younger. She said she used to watch it as a child in Ghana. The 200+ episodes scared me at first but after every episode is around 15minutes it’s not too bad and I’ve had practice with Cdramas and Kdramas with there many episodes Lool. I’m so glad I gave it a chance because it shows Japanese history which a lot of Japanese dramas don’t really do, which is a shame as Japan does have an interesting history.

Completely agree, she’s doing too much and I know she’d feel a way if someone did the same to her. Also, she was really talking out of her anus about him being and orphan, at least a little bit of sensitivity ?

Like I said , there’s patriotism and there’s stupidity. It’s not my fault if you think the 2 are the same. you can’t tell me that racism should just be looked at as culture, yes, everyone has the right to be proud of where they come from, but you don’t have to bring down other cultures to do it, if you’re really patriotic, you can use your own culture for comedy and entertainment, why do you need to make fun of others? Kpop and Korean pop culture is not as big as everyone thinks. I don’t know where you see me looking down on Koreans because I’m in fact trying to call out the hypocrisy. Stop projecting your sentiments onto me, like I said before, there’s also a lot of anti-Asian sentiment of Asians from other countries, but continue excusing and justifying discriminatory behaviour I guess.

Korea can’t expect to market hallyu to the world if they won’t fix up their racist behaviour. If the general public dig deep into Korean popular culture, they’ll definitely get shut down. There’s patriotism and plain stupidity, I don’t know how they can understand racism towards them but not their racism towards other people, some of them are even rude to other Asians . Nonsense.
