Yea burying the villains ashes with her aunts was stupid after everything he did. Ml survived and healed because the disintegration skill he used didnt effect him, because he gave all his powers to fl. The scene said this right after he woke up and went to see fl in the garden. The disintegration skill only expelled the poison in him. He healed because the stab and injuries weren't fatal.
