I went in for the cast and stayed for the story. This was incredible even though the last episode felt rushed, I wouldn't mind it being 16-20 episode. It had it all action, suspense, politics, medical, sublet romance and an incredible cast. From the beginning it kept me guessing who was responsible and to end it like that....AAAHHH what a series...👏👏👏👏
When drama cliché meet great acting, we got an excellent drama. In MDL style the best way to describe this series is; its a poor guy vs rich girl, terminally ill, childhood love/crush, little bit of action (even though the shoot out was ...), warm guy vs cold girl, divorce, village setting, bromance (the kind we all took for granted until the finale), abroad settings, INCREDIBLE MUSIC, e.t.c So all in all we got a show that managed to bring us to tears for the past 8 weeks. 👏👏👏😊🥰
IMHO- I really enjoyed everything about this series including the so called dead-fish kiss... In most cases a kiss is suppose to fix everything; after a kiss comes that awkward moment of contemplating each other's feelings and then they realise they like each other and bam HAPPY ENDING... But here, they put a stop/block to it. Instead they gave us an Open Ending; where the ML said we will start when this happens i.e. when you have another home that is not me. I loved it. Take CSH for an example, I think for the first time he put himself first and not immediately start caring for LYD. He's been looking after his family his entire life and now with someone important to him, he took a step back AND THAT MADE THAT LAST CALL MORE EFFECTIVE for an ending.
A home and someone to eat dinner with..That's what normal for me😊😘 It was simple and to the point. That phone call at the end...Man wish there was more episodes...👏👏👏
So what exactly is YES plan? Frame BHW and let him rot in jail while he takes credit for everything he has done for Hae In? I mean they were a world famous couple that people are twitting about, their entire life is the hottest topic on social media, the is literally a documentary about their lives (EP-1)...How does YES plan to convince HHI that he was her life partner? Another Taiwanese BL masterpiece. What I liked- the ML'S chemistry, the storyline, the OST and their messages that somehow links up the story and the quotes after each episode. I cleared out my Saturday for this and now that it's over... I found myself thinking about some of the best lines I heard in this show... "If the one I loves marries someone else, I would go crazy" "My world sum up in 2 words" "If I die what would I leave him with" "My biggest wish is for them to be happy" SO MANY, THIS SHOW KEPT US GLUED TO THE SCREEN EVEN AFTER EVERY EPISODE, WE WISHED WE COULD SEE IT ALL OVER AGAIN...Rewatch-10 👏👏👏👏😊 On a side note- What up with the doctor and gangster? Now that's a story I would like to watch.
The last time I squealed this much was when 911 series showed Buck's kiss...🥰🤩 I am still keeping it on a loop, I tried to move forward but there is no preview... 6 DAYS...😣😥. I thought the big brother will be the first to make a move, didn't see that coming. On side note- How incredible was that hug when YD told CSH that he had done good 😊😊. I feel like rambling about how good this series is, one would think its an hour long AND ITS ONLY 20 MINUTES.
I thought the hottest scene in this series by far was the imaginary kiss by the lake BUT that hug....🙈😍😜🥰 So ep-9 gave us an incredible, moving confession by WZY. It keeps me wondering how WQ will confess...I am looking forward to that scene... Now to wait 6 more days...😢😫😵
When WZY called his brother by his name...😍😍😍I love how flirty he has gotten...Making WQ shy away, he couldn't look WZY in the eye this whole episode and the one time he did was when WZY was asleep.. 🙈.
You know that you have seen an incredible episode when the second it ends, you wish someone could tell you Saturday is tomorrow. Knowing you will get to continue it again... SO.. Someone please tell me 6 days will go by in a flash...
Ep-6 served us good, they gave us heart fluttering moments with the leads while the 2nd lead were busy cooking up their plans.. At first I wasn't interested in what YES was doing because I was busying shipping the mains... then the end hit hard...😬 Blame YES for being the villain here but they way he uncovered BHW's secrets was 👏👏👏... On a side note- How I wish I was that German lady who spotted BHW 🥰🥰, can you imagine it... running into Kim Soo Hyun at the train station...😎. I would change my entire schedule just to stalk him the whole day...😋😜😜. But coincidences like that happens only in dramaland..
12 weeks of amazing, entertaining, educational and incredible story I have seen in a long time. This was just great... BEST 2023/24 BL SERIES...👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
