I'm not sure why people take a fantasy drama so seriously. I for one loved it. It was different from all the previous dramas I've been watching. I stopped watching korean dramas about a year ago because I got bored with the same storyline. I loved both the fml and ml, their romance was fantasy beautiful. No unnecessary breakups, hot chemistry, those kissing scenes was believably good. They showed their affection, that is normal in being in love. You see that a lot in Chinese dramas.

Wish they could remake this drama. I couldn't watch all the bad cgi, special effects and the old aesthetics, the hair and and make-up.

I have never cried so much in a drama. The villains in this series was pure evil.

I liked the drama. Both FL and ML is so attractive. This is a short series so it won't have the depth of normal dramas. The ending is not bad, she had to make the hard decision for the best outcome. And she found a different type of happiness. I'm so glad I didn't skip the drama because of the low rating.

I loved this drama. The fl was strong from beginning to end!!!

3 years later and the subs is still horrendous. looked promising but unfortunately the subs put me off completely.

beautiful actors. FL has the same facial expression through the whole drama, she's stiff so is her kissing scenes.

The female lead was dammed from the beginning. She was sacrificed to marry the emperor and died for the emperor. And in between she was poisoned, tortured and rejected. Why is it always the women? I was really hoping for a happy ending after all she had to go through.

By episode 15 I started watching this drama in fast forward.

Tried liking this drama but really how many people tried to kill her, in every episode she was tortured and not to mention her weak husband the fourth prince, pathetic. Most of the women hated her. This was painful to watch.

Ignore the rating. This was a sweet and short mini drama. I liked all the actors and they could all act. I enjoyed it.

The main leads are both very attractive and they have a lot of chemistry. And that's all I liked about this drama. It was super frustrating. So many lies and misunderstandings. Crazy people trying to break them up. The FL character was super irritating after the truth was revealed. This was a 5/10.

On a side note, I can't believe Darren Chen is older than Zhang Linghe. Darren looks very young too. He is closer to Jing Tians age but it wouldn't have worked if he was the ML.

I'm busy watching this drama. The fl Jing Tian is so beautiful, I was shocked to learn that she's 37 years old. She looks like a 20 something girl. I know everyone has issue with the age gap, but it's nonsense, she does not look older than the ML. I've lately seen a lot of chinese dramas where the fl is older than the ML and it's not a problem. They are all actors and age should not matter.
