I'm not sure if I watched the same show as the people that said Lu Zhao was weaker in the second part? She lost her power and mended her relationship with Mo Qing. When she got her power back she fought the evil Deity and was as powerful as before. In episode 53 she fought without Mo Qing. She was very arrogant in the first part, showing her dominance and blamed Mo Qing for loosing the sword. She matured after she got back from death and found out the truth. Just my point of view.
The shows rating is to high, maybe it was the standards 10 years ago. The ML acting was terrible, most of the women was in love or obsessed with him, he is not that attractive!!! Most of the women was jealous or mean to the FL. They said she's not pretty and doesn't deserve him. OMG, she was the prettiest women in the series. I dropped it after ep 24, I did fw in most of the episodes.
