Have we watched the same show? How about the time they were trapped in the hole together, or she was singing in the tether and he watched her or had been sleeping in the same bed, or they were dancing in ball. Just to name few. Also you said FL never had feelings for 2ML, where in the series for very long time she actually has doubts who she really likes and at the beginning up till at least half of the show the odds were on 2ML.

This drama could have been a masterpiece. End it up being good and on some levels even very good, and even excellent on others, but overall it will be one of many good dramas. That is thanks to Chinese censorship, well they managed to shred this amazing series to the point of frustration I think I have never felt after any drama before. I mean, the costumes, action, directing work but above all, and I can't stress it out enough, amazing absolutely amazing acting work. I mean if not for them, especially LM acting, this series would have been unwatchable from second half of the series. They have cut 90 min of LM and LF scenes. That left huge holes in the story. Also, instead of watching them as the main lead to the story, you watch everyone else, which makes the story quite often all over the place. There was no glue that kept this show together and exciting, and somehow with that it has lost it pace. Also, the very intelligent Chinese officials didn't mind romantic scenes of LF and second LM, so at some point you feel like they story is the main one and not ML and FL. So, somehow you loose the anticipation for leading couple. Plus no scenes of their feeling development, it almost looks like they loose interest in each other as well, so what was the point of the whole story. At the end after finishing the series, I felt like everything was coming amazingly together the first half of the series, and then instead of continue to evolve, there was a big detour which didn't make sense, and it lost all excitement. The only reason how the show managed to defence itself from being a total mess was again amazingly executed acting job from absolutely everyone. That was the only reason, I would say this show is definitely worth watching, because of the acting and amazing actors, and beautiful costumes.

Guys where do you watch this drama? I tried on two different servers and eng subs are just terrible. Barely can make a sense out of them. Please recommend some good website.

Actually the romance in this drama is the best part, and not because of the storyline but how main leads have fulfilled the roles. I mean with all honestly I can say in all C-Dramas and K-Dramas I have never seen such a naturally behaving couple. I mean I almost had a feeling like I was sneaking on real couple. The storyline sometimes is lacking logic or the pace of the drama slows down somewhere on a way and then picks up later by the end. But the main lead's acting and chemistry is consistent throughout the whole 40 episodes.

Also, I like the main actress Li Yi Tong. I know her from series Bloody Romans. If you haven't seen it yet, please give it a try. You're going to love it. It's one of this gem series which is not highly marketed but once you come across it you think how come I haven't watched it yet. Also, music, and chemistry between lead female and two lead male is crazzy.
