I didn't read the novel, and I'm a newbie in the BL world, yet it was obvious for me since the begining that Kiyoi is the bottom xD I'm going to miss the drama and the characters, Japan make great creepy romance dramas !
is it just me or i just realized that kiyoi could be equally obsessed, but acts cold so he isn't obvious or is…
exactly my thoughts, he's equally obsessed with Hira, but doesn't want to admit his feelings, or maybe he didn't realise it yet. At their graduation day he purposely went to that deserted part of the school knowing that Hira will follow him, and wanted a second, proper confession. His awkward kiss betrayed his true feelings.
Finally a Japanese Bl drama with realistic characters with actual character flaws, believable relationship development,…
we can enjoy both genres separately, we can watch Cherry Magic when we want some escapism and then switch to Utsukushii Kare when we are in the mood for something more realistic.
In ep 1 when Kurosawa was waiting the elevator with Adachi and making small talk with him, you can already see love in his eyes, he also suggested to take the stairs to try to spend more time with Adachi, he was really cute !
I love how the leads are honest about their feelings, Aoki is honest about falling for Ida and Ida is honest about being curious and wanting to give the relationship a try in order to figure out his feelings toward Aoki
didn't like Haruta's character honestly, I felt like he toyed with Kurosawa, Maki and Chizu's feelings, and I didn't get why they fell for him. The actor did a great jo portraying the character though.
BL or not BL, Kurosawa is the best character written in dramaland history, he was always considerate, careful, gentleman, and never forced himself on Adachi inspite being madly in love with them.
